EMBRACING LIFE’S CHANGES

Embracing life’s changes can be challenging if circumstances affects you and a majority of people. Friends move on to marry, live or work away from family brings emotional changes to deal with. One may feel abandoned or left out thinking if one offended those uninterested in interacting with you anymore. The reality is transitions in life brings changes in lifestyles to other dimensions so embrace changes. One may feel disappointed, grieve and mourn emotionally or feel powerless about friend/s and loved ones who moves on in life. Response by empathy and love, don’t accuse them or feel ignored. Married friends form new bonds and one may feel excluded but understand their new lifestyle and support them. Call, text, email, Skype as long as possible and be realistic to enjoy your life. Join favourite club, take up hobbies, volunteer, travel, read to children or adults. Befriend lonely neighbours if it’s safe to do so. Pray, sing, listen to favourite music, dance. Don’t spend the rest of one’s life feeling sad about those who moved on from your life.
