Moses told God “If you do not go with us we will not go without you” in Exodus 33:15. Moses needed God’s help to deal with challenges facing Israel. Almighty God’s presence empowers HIS children to live for God. Moses knew that God’s presence in his life is useful to enable him to achieve good success. Moses told God face to face boldly, “If you do not go with me I will not go” in Exodus 33:15. It is Moses saying, “LORD if you are not in it we will not make it so not take single step unless assured of your presence.” Moses knows power of God’s presence sets Israel apart from all other nations. God’s Presence sets apart God believers because God Emmanuel with us leads us, guides us, works HIS will through us. His Presence drives out fear, confusion. Moses’ attitude was, “We function better if guided or governed by God in battle to survive and defeat enemies. With God’s presence in our midst means none can destroy us with God we are strong and saved because God is strength and our salvation. Let all the nations put trust in their mighty armies, iron chariots, their skilled soldiers. Israel TRUSTS manifest Presence of God to save them in victory.God answered Moses’ bold statement so “My presence will go with you and I will give you rest” in Exodus 33:14. So “Rest” means “peaceful confidence.” God was saying, “No matter the battles or trials you face you will always find the quiet confidence to rest in God to be steadfast and fearless.” God’s presence and HIS GLORY builds Israel’s confidence in the wilderness by HIS cloud by day and fire at night. Cloud reassures of the manifest Presence of God’s promise with them. The tabernacle at night is guided by pillar of fire from God that confirms Presence of God. The cloud of pillar and fire moves and Israel moved, when it stops they stop moving. People of God led directly by God never had to try to figure out direction or the future. They put all confidence in visible cloud of the LORD’S Presence in lifework and HIS divine miracles around. And God’s presence leads to revelation of Christ’s Glory as “God’s Divine Angel” to Israel to send His message of the Gospel to all. Moses wants God’s continuous presence manifested of the LORD “to know God” more in Exodus 33:13. God told Moses “My presence will go with you and I will give you rest” in Exodus 33:14. Moses is leading stiff necked people complaining, ungrateful, unthankful and Moses feels overwhelmed at times. So God’s visible presence encourages Moses to know for sure God’s promise of peace rest is real. Assurance of God’s presence reinforces hope in Moses. He wants more of God’s Presence in addition to the cloud pillar and fire sai, “Please Lord show me your GLORY in 33:18. God shows Moses HIS GLORY by revealing HIS nature passed by and Moses said, The LORD, the LORD God, merciful, gracious, longsuffering, abundant in goodness and truth keeps mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin” in Exodus 34:6–7. God’s GLORY is revelation of HIS goodness, mercy, love and compassion.Moses needs God’s Presence to meet Israel in tabernacle sanctified by God’s GLORY in Exodus 29:43. The “sanctified” “made clean people of God to worship and meet in God’s Presence. In Presence of God is revealed GLORY that lifts you above all circumstances of life.” Moses trusts in God’s Word to send Jesus as the helper of Israel. Christ’s Glory provides power for our defense in Isaiah 4:5. His glory keep us heavenly minded in worst hours of life. Moses in God’s Presence is refreshed and renewed in HIS GLORY. It is revealed in Moses’ face shining from Presence of God. Full revelation of God’s love, grace, mercy, kindness imparted is in Moses more equipped to lead Israel. It is looking upon God again to reassure Moses God will see him through all trial he faced. The eyes of the LORD runs to and fro whole earth to show HIMSELF strong on behalf of all whose heart is perfect towards HIM in 2 Chronicles 16 : 9. In these perilous times the presence and assurance of Jesus keeps anguish and fear at bay. God’s nearness and HIS closeness takes away all anxiety, fears and cares hiding in the secret place of the Most High God in Psalm 1:1. Prayer quietly to worship, thank, commit all pain, stress and family cares to God.God’s condition to HIS Presence in life is trusting God to work all things together for our good in our interest. When it seems all is lost, God steps in for Israel even if God punished them redeems for HIS GLORY and HIS HOLY Name sake. A case in point is King Asa’s God’s people in miraculous victory over an Ethiopian million army. Asa said its God Presence that scattered enemy: “Asa cried, LORD help us they have more with them, we have no power. Help us! We rest in you and in your name against multitudes. So the LORD smote the Ethiopians before Asa” in 2 Chronicles 14:11–12. Asa led his triumphant army back to Jerusalem, the prophet Azariah met him at the city gate with message: “Hear me, Asa, The LORD is with you as you are with HIM. If you seek HIM, HE will find you but if you forsake HIM, HE will forsake you. Israel was without God in slavery but when in their trouble they turned to the LORD God of Israel. God heard their cries in Egypt so sent Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh to deliver them in Exodus 3 : 9. The cry of the Israelites has reached ME. I have seen how they are treated in Egypt in Exodus 2:23-3:22. God Heard Israel’s groaning during 439 years of the cruelty of kings of Egypt. God’s answer to their bondage when they cried was because their cry came up unto God in heaven. Many are crying for years still wondering if God cares about them and this is the reason to hold on by faith in Christ all is well in Jesus Name. God is keenly interested and watching from heaven and will intervene in HIS OWN TIME. Moses and Elijah will come again to deliver people from their bondage on earth. Freewill choice will be given to seek God’s face and join His Kingdom in Christ. This is not fable fairy tell as some mock but is real living history on earth.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 says For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God. The dead in Christ rise first. The “dead in Christ” are Christians who died before return of Christ. They will rise first and return with Him in 2 Corinthians. 5:8. They are in Christ, because they are saved so the Children of God. Redeemed by Jesus the Son of God boldly enter God’s Presence through the Blood of the Lamb of God in eternal life. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord. COMFORT one another with these words from 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18. And in resurrection all who rise first have glorified bodies, meet with those alive and so will rapture together into heaven. And the Lord Jesus Christ Himself will descend from heaven with thousands of angels. At the last trumpet call, the dead in Christ will arise first. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself comes from heaven in the clouds with loud command the dead rise in Christ in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 guaranteed so come back to life. And together with those still alive will go in rapture to heaven as part of our hope in the eternal life. Eagerly waiting for the resurrection knowing RETURN of Christ reunites our families in heaven in the PRESENCE OF GOD. Those who died in God in Christ through salvation of God arise first at the TRUMPET call. All eyes on earth will SEE Jesus SHINING bright as the Sunshine. All in Christ will rejoice exceedingly at this COMING of Christ in rapture and celebrate in Jesus Name.
Inner peace joy in Christ brings contentment to fulfil what the Bible says to learn to be content ‘in all circumstances.’ The bigger car or a bigger house or a bigger salary brings contentment with responsibility. There will always be something ‘bigger and better’ out there. There will always be people who have more so you’ll never be able to get off the treadmill. That is not to imply be satisfied with enslaved debt or destructive habits, or settle for complacency and mediocrity. To fulfil the call of God on your life you must keep working to improve yourself, while totally dependent on God to bless you, promote you, and meet your needs through the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name.Contentment means making the most of your strength, position, possessions and personality. Your inner peace, security and self-worth should be based on who you are in Christ, not what you have in material assets. The Godly great way to live is be blessed yet focused on Blesser. Paul lived and learned…to be content in all circumstances happy with a little as with much. He found recipe to be happy whether full or hungry even on empty stomach. Whatever or wherever issues faced make it through it all by the help of God in Christ who strengthens you. Each day is a choice to make regarding attitude to life and learn to be content. Paul was content in all circumstances at peace within but external observations show otherwise in Philippians 4:11. He arose above the outward circumstances that depress and destroy others to look up to God to keep him in perfect peace that passes all human understanding so overcame adversities. The Spirit of God in man uplifts to seat supernaturally in heavenly places beyond the cares or the woes of this world. So endured the pain and trauma to face tomorrow against all odds in Jesus Name.
Moses saw a burning bush that did not burn the trees. God tells Moses to take shoes off on Holy ground. After God appeared to Moses in the burning bush HE told him to return to Egypt to rescue Israelite slaves because their cries came up to God. Moses said to God, if they ask for a name of God of fathers what should I tell them?” God said tell them, “I AM WHO I AM.
Exodus 4:3-4. God instructs Moses to go to the king of Egypt for Israel freedom. Moses said, “What if they do not believe the LORD appeared to me God performs two miracles with Moses’ staff and hand
The LORD said to Moses, Stretch your hand and grap it by tail so he stretched his hand and caught it and it became a staff in his hand.
The LORD said to him put your hand into your bosom.” So he put his hand into his bosom, and when he took it out, his hand was leprous like snow and the hand leprous back to original form. The Lord told Moses to turn water from the river into blood as a sign.
Then He said, “Put your hand into your bosom again.” So he put his hand into his bosom again, and when he took it out of his bosom, behold, it was restored like the rest of his flesh. LORD I am not a good speaker or eloquent I am slow of speech. God reassured Moses HE gave humans their mouths, ears to hear and gives sight to blind? The Lord said send Aaron to help you.
“But if they will not believe even these two signs or heed what you say, then you shall take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground; and the water which you take from the Nile will become blood on the dry ground.
Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh, and did as the LORD commanded. So Aaron threw his staff down before Pharaoh and his servants and it turned into a snake. These signs were not enough for Pharaoh. “
So Moses and Aaron did even as the LORD had commanded. He lifted up the staff and struck the water in the Nile, in the sight of Pharaoh and his servants, and water in the Nile turned to blood.
So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.
The LORD did according to the word of Moses, and the frogs died out of the houses, the courts, and the fields.
They did so as Aaron stretched his hand with his staff, and struck the dust of the earth, and there were gnats on man and beast. All the dust of earth became gnats through all the land of Egypt.
“For if you do not let My people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies on you and on your servants and on your people and into your houses; and the houses of the Egyptians will be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground on which they dwell. “But on that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, where My people are living, so no swarms of flies will be there, in order that you may know that I, the LORD, am in the midst of the land. “I will put division between My people and your people tomorrow this sign will occur.
The LORD did as Moses asked, and removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants and from his people; not one remained.
The hand of the LORD will come with a severe pestilence on your livestock in the field, on horses, on donkeys, on the camels, on herds, and on flocks. “But the LORD will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and livestock of Egypt, so nothing will die that belongs to the sons of Israel.” The LORD set a definite time, saying, “Tomorrow the LORD will do this things in the land.”
So they took soot from a kiln, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses threw it toward the sky, and it became boils breaking out with sores on man and beast. The magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils were on the magicians as well as on all the Egyptians.
Moses stretched his staff toward the sky and the LORD sent thunder, hail, and fire ran down to the earth. And the LORD rained hail on the land of Egypt.
Moses went out of city from Pharaoh, and spread out his hands to the LORD; and the thunder and the hail ceased, and rain no longer poured on the earth.
So Moses stretched out his staff over the land of Egypt, and the LORD directed an east wind on the land all that day and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
The LORD shifted the wind to a strong west wind which took the locusts and drove them into the Red Sea; not one locust was left in all territory of Egypt.
So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days.
Now it came about at midnight that the LORD struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of cattle.
Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD swept the sea back by a strong east wind all night and turned the sea into dry land, so the waters were divided. The sons of Israel went through midst of the sea on dry land, and the waters like a wall to them on their right hand and on their left..
The LORD said to Moses, “Stretch your hand over the sea for waters to come back over Egyptians, their chariots and horsemen. Moses stretched his hand over the sea to return to normal state at daybreak. While Egyptians were in the sea the LORD overthrew Egyptians in the midst of the sea. The water returned and covered their chariots, horsemen, Pharaoh’s entire army in the sea after Jews so not even one of them remained.
Then he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree; and he threw it into the waters, and the waters became sweet There He made for them a statute and regulation, and there He tested them.
“Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
So it came about when Moses held his hand up, that Israel prevailed, and when he let his hand down, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands were heavy. Then they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other. Thus his hands were steady until the sun set. So Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
Moses said, “By this you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these deeds; for this is not my doing. “If these men die the death of all men or if they suffer the fate of all men, then the LORD has not sent me. “But if the LORD brings about an entirely new thing and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that is theirs, and they descend alive into Sheol, then you will understand that these men have spurned the LORD.
Exodus 20:1-26 On the third day, Moses received 10 Commandments on Mt Sinai near where God appeared to Moses in the burning bush.
Then Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came forth abundantly, and the congregation and their beasts drank.
Then the LORD said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a standard; and it shall come about, that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, he will live.” Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on the standard; and it came about if a serpent bit any man, when he looked to the bronze serpent, he lived.Exodus is the living history documented as shown in the above timeline of Israel from ancient history. The Jews lived in Cannaanland since the time of Abraham and migrated to Egypt during the severe famines that took place. Joseph brought his father Jacob, siblings and families to Egypt to settle in Goshen in Egypt. The Jews multiplied so rapidly despite their Egyptian Midwives warned to kill male children. The loyal Midwives preserved babies so rewarded with houses. Just as baby Moses escaped death of killing of the infants of Jews so Jesus escaped to Egypt as a baby from Herod. Moses was chosen and preserved by God to save the Jews in Egypt. The book of Micaiah in Bible says Moses will return to earth to join Elijah as two Witnesses to preach during endtimes. Together will help to repeat similar miracles again and more, then raised from death on the third day and taken to heaven alive. The miracles of Moses changing water of Nile river to blood is a symbolic link between Moses and Jesus. Moses is first saviour of Jew’s escape from Egypt as Jesus the Spiritual Saviour of all people. Moses and Jesus grew up in Egypt and will return to save people during endtime on earth. Bible in Deuteronomy 34:5-8 says Moses the servant of the LORD died in the land of Moab as Word of the LORD said 6 God buried him in the valley in the land of Moab beside Beth-peor, no man knows where he is buried to this day.7 Moses was 120 years old when he died. But his eyes were not weak and his strength had not left him. 8 The children of Israel cried for Moses in the valley of Moab for thirty days. Then days of crying and sorrow for Moses came to an end. And in Joshua 1:1-2 Bible says, 1 “After death of Moses Servant of the LORD the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying, 2 Moses MY servant is dead arise, go over Jordan with all this people to the land I gave to children of Israel. Moses died but his Spirit lived on so met Jesus and Elijah on the Mountain of transfiguration recognised by Peter, James and John. God confirms Jesus as His Beloved Son so listen and hear Him.
On the mountain in Matthew 17:2 Jesus was transfigured before Moses, Elijah, Peter, James and John. Jesus’ face then became shining as the sun, his garments white as light.” Transfiguration in front of the prophets Elijah and Moses, who appeared before Jesus confirms many interactions between heaven and earth as happens often. Jesus begins to talk to them and God affirms Jesus once again that Jesus is His Son and True Messiah. Peter wanted to built three tents for them to stay longer on the mountain top but was a preview of Jesus’ resurrection so not necessary. Moses and Elijah will return alive to earth as two witnesess in endtime evangelism to lead countless multitudes from all nations, tribes and languages to Christ to be saved in the name of Jesus. Later all will appear in heaven carrying branches before the Throne of God. Afterwards return with God to dwell eternally on a new perfect earth in New Jerusalem in Israel ruled by Jesus Christ.
Faith does the works of God in practical ways by applying theology to help others. And Jesus said whoever feeds or gives a coat, provides shelter or gives drink to the least in His Name is a sheep in His Kingdom. Faith in action works if the gospel preached with loving care to the people. Some think doing works of God earns ‘salvation’ some believers do not show kindness, compassion for fear of displeasing God become Scrooge. Justify lack of compassion by excuse is “works” but is this thinking correct? God commands farmers to leave edges of harvest for the poor and travellers to collect and eat for free. Other people help by donating to charity for good causes. But debate comes up because generosity to the stranger or others seen as lazy parasite. Some use excuse of sponsoring bad habit substance abuse, addiction to alcohol or drugs as reasons not to give. Situations of the homeless approaching others for help is considered an offence to beg so most turn to other ways to get funds but risk their lives. Many people refuse to give them support except to help themselves. In Bible on numerous occasions Jesus preached and taught the multitudes, He fed them. As gap widens between rich and the poor qualified but unemployed without wages on the zero hour contract life is difficult for them. Some are trained as back up emergency stand by staff to fill in for absent staff on vacation, sick or on maternity leave. Tied to company, cannot seek other jobs in the interim, with bills to pay and rent arrears while employers raise their own salaries and bonuses. So the question is how to reach out to help others without judging them. This debate between faith as God works of salvation and salvation based on faith alone exists for centuries. The Bible speaks volumes on this topic of salvation good works. Interpretation or proper understanding these passages is vital to our relationship with the Lord and relationship with others. Search for answers to this question in God’s Word says “Know, O foolish man faith without works is dead. Abraham our father was justified by faith works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar. So faith works together with GOD WORKS by works so faith is made perfect. A man is justified by works not by faith only says James 2:20, 22, 24.” Passage in James 2 proves faith alone is not good enough; we must demonstrate good works of salvation. It seems James is not teaching as Paul said salvation of faith alone in Romans 5:1. Time and time again, Paul says works cannot save but faith is knowing Lord Jesus as our Saviour. “For by Grace you are saved through faith not yourselves; so the GIFT of God not by works so none should boast in Ephesians 2:8-9.” James 2 in full context, is not telling us to earn salvation but confirms that good works helps prove we are really true believers. “Faith by itself works is dead. Show me faith without works and I will show you faith by works in James 2:17-18.” When we accept Christ as our Saviour, there is immediate change. A sinner is immediately forgiven, washed clean of sin and restored to a right relationship with the Lord. No fear of consequences of sin because fully justified in His eyes; covered by the blood of Jesus Christ and His SACRIFICE on the cross. The old self dies to become a new creation says 2 Corinthians 5;17.We are sanctified by blood of Jesus daily by process of constant learning to grow on faith journey. Cultivating the fruits of the spirit in Galatians 5:22-23 in serving God. And 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 reveals the intricacy of Body of Christ working together by love to bring Him Glory and share His Love and Truth in the world. Kindness, compassion and our love to others promotes work based salvation. Jesus moved with compassion in His ministry by His example so expects His followers to do so. Matthew 9:36; 14:14; Philippians 2:1-8; Ephesians 4:32 says be kind and loving to others as Jesus did to those around Him and even those who hated Him. Help and serve others but be not absorbed in works with improper motive. Not a people-pleaser by nature constantly looking for others to praise for good things done to get rewards. Jesus sees through ego or pride to earn His good favour by doing good things to others. Developing fruits of kindness and love is Godly works in life. Keeping the heart in check to ensure right motives to serve others. Knowing these things helps to save us so extremely important. The rich man in Bible missed heaven for mistreating Lazarus. God discerns the intentions of the heart and readily help us approach HIM in humility with desire to grow in faith. By our love others know we are Christians as the words of John 13:35 show, “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” It is a great reminder of the responsibility to love others the way God LOVES us. God is LOVE so whoever lives in love lives in God and God in them …We love because Jesus first Loved us,” in 1 John 4:16, 19. God’s LOVE is unconditional, endless so let’s rest in God’s amazing LOVE and extend love to our spouses, kids, friends and strangers in need of kind words or help. In Matthew 24:35, “Heaven and Earth shall pass away but MY WORDS Shall Not pass away. Psalms 119:11, “YOUR WORD I have I hidden in my heart so I will not sin against God and Joseph refused to sin against God. In Psalms 12:6, “The WORDS of the LORD are Pure Words, as silver is tried in furnace of Earth is Purified Seven Times.”Psalms 19:14 says “Let the WORDS of our mouth meditations of our Heart be acceptable in YOUR Sight O LORD Our Strength, and OUR Redeemer in Jesus Name. And Psalms 119:105 says “YOUR WORD is a Lamp unto my feet and Light to my Path!!! THANK YOU OUR FATHER LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. Thank you Son Lord Jesus and thank you Holy Spirit in helping us to love another in Jesus Name.
God’s social media connection marriage partners were just friends but has more plans confirmed through Pastor Alph Lukau. It is reassuring God watches all things on social media and approves of good things happening but hates all evil things taking place there. God gave this spouse to each other to have and to hold to walk together. Amos 3:3 says, do two walk together unless they agree so both friends agreed before congregation to love each other. This is miracle working God we serve in Jesus Name.
Colossians 1:21 says you who were once alienated enemy of God in your mind by wicked works HE reconciled through the Body of Jesus Christ. God reconciled HIS enemy in Body of His flesh through death to present you Holy, Blameless and Above Reproach in HIS Sight. And so continue in the FAITH, grounded and steadfast in the hope of the GOSPEL you heard preached to every creature under heaven which I Paul became minister. It sounds in denial, Paul who persecuted Christians zealously until the Lord Jesus INTERVENED on his way to Damascus to write these words. Believers thought he faked Christianity to go undercover as mole to get more insider information to persecute them. It seems so bizarre to see Paul among his perceived enemies to convince them he was truly saved by Jesus just like them. In Acts 9:26-31 then Saul, arrived in Jerusalem and tried to join the disciples to meet with believers but they were all afraid of him. They did not believe he truly repented as a born again Christian. Paul’s evil reputation and wicked works was publicly known, documented even during the stoning of Stephen. So it was a shock to Christians at first to, accept, trust or embrace him. They were all afraid of him and so did not believe he was really a disciple. But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul on his journey saw the Lord Jesus and the Lord spoke to him and in Damascus he preached fearlessly in Name of Jesus. 28 Saul stayed with them, moved about freely in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the Name of the Lord. 29 He talked and debated with the Hellenistic Jews, but they tried to kill him. 30 When believers learned of this, they took him down to Caesarea and sent him to Tarsus. 31 The Church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of PEACE and was strengthened. Living in Fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit increased in numbers. A hunter became hunted but rescued by believers who saved his life because God’s Hands was upon him for good works of the LORD. This verse highlights important point made in the text people’s sins separate them from God. In their own eyes saw themselves as “enemies of God in their own mind.” So they knew their actions were contrary to the love for others God’s LOVE required for even enemies. Since they didn’t express such love but practiced hatred, revenge of anyone joining Christ they also “saw themselves as God’s enemies. Romans says they persecute people in the Name of God convinced they are doing service for God. John 16:1-3 says they kill some people thinking they are doing God a favour. Nations went to battle without the Favour of God in Romans 8:37 when they desire but DO NOT HAVE so kill to take by force or coerce people to remain part of them. Families and communities feel abandoned or rejected when a loyal member gives their life to Jesus forever. They feel betrayed, harass, intimidate a person, cut off inheritance, blackmail or sabotage. They poison, beat up, torture such a person for their FREEWILL to be a Follower of God through Jesus Christ. After several attempts failed to trying to kill Sadhu Sunda Singh his father also became a convert to Christianity. Yet Sunda was once a staunch hater of Christians who taunted them during crusades and with his friends threw stuff at believers and burned Bible with kerosene. Separation anxiety and fear of others following too causes evil treacherous treatment of the believer. Jesus and the angels faithfully protected Sunda on numerous occasion of attacks. He was bound, beaten, stuck with slugs go suck his blood but God did save his life. He was thrown alive in the well locked with keys around waist of his enemy but God sent angels to unlock well, lower rope and rescue him among the decayed rotten victims in that well. He slept with a cobra unawares that kept him warm until daybreak only to run leaving his sari. He went back to recover it and the snake slithered away. One night Sadhu sat outside, a leopard came close to him so he took his hands, patted him and let him rest his head on his lap. What a miracle-working God we serve in Jesus Name. These testimonies proved God’s Divine protection cover but earned him as a worse enemies and thrown out of communities. The fear of losing followers drove many to mistreat him. He forgave all the people who beat him for having a bath as leaders did not do so. Mixing with them during harvest wheat from another faith. Miracles after miracle followed Sunda who loved Jesus after challenging him to prove himself if real and to give him peace in his heart or kill himself under train. Jesus heard his desperate prayer so rescued him. He was so impressed against all odds of his class, status and wealth declared his love for Jesus. His frenemies turned on him for joining believers they used to attack together. So he had to leave his hometown poisoned by his father for accepting Jesus as LORD and Saviour. He was saved after vomiting poisoned blood of snake poison and lived to the Glory of God to the Testimony of Jesus by the BLOOD of the lamb to defeat the enemy satan. The BLOOD of Jesus as the living Word of God cleanses evil from the body. Jesus said, if they drink poison or take up snakes it shall not hurt them in Jesus Name. God’s Goodness again and again proved in Sunda’s life all the way to Nepal, Tibet, India, Switzerland among others. Soldier supervised Jesus’ crucifixion of Jesus who pierced his side with the sword recognised POWER of God in Christ’s Resurrection. Longinus the Centurion Roman soldier, served in Judea under command of the Governor, Pontius Pilate. Our Saviour Jesus Christ was crucified by detachment of soldiers under command of Longinus, watched at Golgotha at the foot of Holy Cross. Longinus and soldiers as eyewitnesses of the final moments of the earthly life of the Lord saw great awesome miracles that appeared during His death. These events shook the centurion’s soul and so Longinus believed in Christ to confess before everyone, “Truly this is the Son of God” in Matthews 27:54. He carried out the execution with Roman guards. They led the Lord through streets of Jerusalem to Calvary’s hill, nailed him to Cross, and thrust the sword into side of the Saviour as crucifixion guard and maintained order. They executed or freed prisoner, torment physically, obey orders, didn’t have emotional stake in proceedings. Whoever was crucified any day as Son of God or wicked person meant nothing to them. As the hardcore soldiers had no sympathy, cold to Jesus, mocked Jesus, beat him 44 times minus 1 kicked him, spat on him, put thorns of crowns on His head. John 19:2-3 said the soldiers twisted crown of thorns put on His head, and they put on Him a purple robe. Then said, “Hail, King of the Jews!” They struck Him with their hands. Luke 23:36 says the soldiers mocked Jesus, and offered Him vinegar to drink. This commander of the crucifixion guard is centurion in charge of hundred troops, delegated to make sure the crucifixion orders was carried out properly without any problems and reports to superiors. Jesus met earlier with a centurion, who desired to heal one of his servants in Matthew 8:5-10. Four legionaries there watched Son of God in John 19:23-24 so the soldiers after they crucified Jesus, took His garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and His tunic that was without seam, woven from the top in one piece. Crucifixion guards divide among themselves meager possessions of those condemned. As the Son of God hung naked for all to see and mock at, they cast lots for His seamless coat to keep as a souvenir. They said therefore among themselves, “Let us not tear it, but cast lots for whose it will be as the Scripture is fulfilled, “They divided My garments among themselves And My clothing they cast lots for as the soldiers did. A centurion, touched by Jesus’ love for His mother’s care and prayer to God to “forgive them for they know not what they were doing,” accepted forgiveness. He never heard such prayer from cross by those crucified. In addition the signs that took place during the crucifixion in Matthew 27:51-54 “The veil of Temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earthquaked and rocks split. 52 and graves opened and many bodies of the saints fallen asleep raised 53 came alive out of the graves after His resurrection, and went into Holy City appeared to so many. 54 The centurion and those with him guarding Jesus saw earthquake and things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God. He believed in Jesus’ innocence in Luke 23:47 the centurion GLORIFIED God, saying, “This was truly a righteous Man! Like a centurion earlier, Cornelius in Acts chapter 10, Longinus believed in the ONE TRUE GOD so GLORIFIED God. So Longinus became a devoted follower of Jesus transformed enemy after seeing Son of God hang on Cross impact enemy to change. Titus 1:15-16 says, To the pure all things are pure, but to those defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure their mind and conscience is defiled 16 thinking they know God but in works deny HIM so abominable, disobedient, disqualify all good works. Jesus gave HIS FREELY life without complaint and could call on Heavenly army to defend Him but did not. Without pleading for Mercy yet Roman soldiers cast lots for His sacred possessions point of contact to powerfully transform them to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Acts 2:36-38 says let all house of Israel know God has made this Jesus you crucified Lord and Christ. 37 When they heard this were cut to the heart so said to Peter and the rest of apostles Men and brethren what shall we do to be saved? 38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” All who see themselves as enemy of God the GOSPEL’S GOOD NEW is repent and accept Jesus as LORD as Master because He does not hate you. Colossians 1:21-22 says, “you who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, now He has reconciled you 22 in Body of His flesh through His death and His Resurrection to present you holy, and blameless above reproach in His Sight.” In his Sight you are seen as God sees you created whole to fulfil His plans and purpose for your life destiny. Don’t listen to the voices in your head telling you that you are enemy of God, useless, worthless of no value to come to a Holy LOVING God. Once you accept Jesus all your sins are forgiven, cleansed by the BLOOD of Jesus to please God. The centurion began as a Roman officer overseeing a crucifixion, but ended the day acknowledging that Jesus was the Son of God. 2. 1 Corinthians 1:18, 23-24 “The message of the Cross is foolishness to those perishing, but to all being saved it is POWER of God unto salvation. We preach Christ CRUCIFIED to all. To Jews it’s a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness 24 but to all those CALLED, both Jews, Greeks and all in Christ it is the POWER and WISDOM of God. And Longinus and other soldiers abandoned army to join Jesus Christ as followers it shocked his officers who felt betrayed so sent soldiers after him to kill him. He was advised to escape but knew it will cost the lives of those soldiers so instead surrendered asmartyr for Jesus Christ. Those who were once enemies of God turned their lives around to reconcile to God through Jesus redemption. So they came to their senses to realise GOD DID NOT SEE THEM AS HIS ENEMIES rather they saw themselves as enemies of God so cut themselves off from HIS Grace, Mercy and Compassion. Many think if they hate God then it means God Hates them back as humans do is not true. The Centurion sent to look for Jesus saw him alive with the disciples but will not be able to convince his superiors. So he defected from the human army into the army of the LIVING GOD. And this man hunter now hunted wo/men for God’s Kingdom. God is not like man whose emotions are up and down so punishes people for hating him. 2 Chronicles 7:14 If MY people who are called by MY NAME, shall humble themselves, and pray, and Seek MY Face and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. The wicked works people think makes them an enemy of God is promised to be FORGIVEN by God. So there is no excuse for holding on to wicked works thinking God has already condemned so there is no hope for your salvation anymore. The devil is a liar making you think you are too sinful for God to FORGIVE you. Also God PROVIDES food and rain and Sunshine to sustain those who hate HIM hoping and longing for them to repent and to turn from their wicked ways to love God as God LOVES them. God is patient, slow go anger so wants people to repent for their own good to be saved in Jesus Name. Everyone will give account of their lives as individuals to God even if the whole nation or community rebels against God. On the judgement day of WRATH of God there will be no cheer leaders ganging up to defend you before God if you put your trust or confidence in them. You stand accused alone but the BLOOD OF JESUS shed for you Sets you FREE by your FREEWILL choice to accept Jesus to escape hell. God says HE will destroy the whole nations after they destroy others. Pack mentality will not save you from God’s WRATH except the BLOOD of Jesus a LIVING SACRIFICE from GOD who paid ULTIMATE price to set you free. Paul, Sadhu, Longinus and other soldiers among others repented of seeing themselves as God’s enemies to be friends of God. Pray for yourself and friends and family to be delivered from stronghold bondage of ideas enslaving you to rebel against. God sees you as worthy of HIS LOVE so sent Jesus to die for you. Do not wallow in misery trying to fill void ONLY GOD IN CHRIST CAN FILL to give you PEACE beyond human understanding. Father God gives all HIS CHILDREN all thing asked for according to HIS will Jesus Name. So it’s necessary to intercede for God’s ‘enemy’ to help all understand God does not hate them for the TRUE WILL of God for all people to be saved. Once forgiven God esteems all above reproach for God does not keep a record of FORGIVEN sin. The Bible says as the East is from the West so has God removed sins and does not remember them no more. Forgive yourself and all others who wrong you in Jesus Name as Jesus Christ has already FORGIVEN all on Cross of Calvary.
