1 Thessalonians 4:16 says For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God. The dead in Christ rise first. The “dead in Christ” are Christians who died before return of Christ. They will rise first and return with Him in 2 Corinthians. 5:8. They are in Christ, because they are saved so the Children of God. Redeemed by Jesus the Son of God boldly enter God’s Presence through the Blood of the Lamb of God in eternal life. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord. COMFORT one another with these words from 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18. And in resurrection all who rise first have glorified bodies, meet with those alive and so will rapture together into heaven. And the Lord Jesus Christ Himself will descend from heaven with thousands of angels. At the last trumpet call, the dead in Christ will arise first. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself comes from heaven in the clouds with loud command the dead rise in Christ in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 guaranteed so come back to life. And together with those still alive will go in rapture to heaven as part of our hope in the eternal life. Eagerly waiting for the resurrection knowing RETURN of Christ reunites our families in heaven in the PRESENCE OF GOD. Those who died in God in Christ through salvation of God arise first at the TRUMPET call. All eyes on earth will SEE Jesus SHINING bright as the Sunshine. All in Christ will rejoice exceedingly at this COMING of Christ in rapture and celebrate in Jesus Name.
Inner peace joy in Christ brings contentment to fulfil what the Bible says to learn to be content ‘in all circumstances.’ The bigger car or a bigger house or a bigger salary brings contentment with responsibility. There will always be something ‘bigger and better’ out there. There will always be people who have more so you’ll never be able to get off the treadmill. That is not to imply be satisfied with enslaved debt or destructive habits, or settle for complacency and mediocrity. To fulfil the call of God on your life you must keep working to improve yourself, while totally dependent on God to bless you, promote you, and meet your needs through the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name.Contentment means making the most of your strength, position, possessions and personality. Your inner peace, security and self-worth should be based on who you are in Christ, not what you have in material assets. The Godly great way to live is be blessed yet focused on Blesser. Paul lived and learned…to be content in all circumstances happy with a little as with much. He found recipe to be happy whether full or hungry even on empty stomach. Whatever or wherever issues faced make it through it all by the help of God in Christ who strengthens you. Each day is a choice to make regarding attitude to life and learn to be content. Paul was content in all circumstances at peace within but external observations show otherwise in Philippians 4:11. He arose above the outward circumstances that depress and destroy others to look up to God to keep him in perfect peace that passes all human understanding so overcame adversities. The Spirit of God in man uplifts to seat supernaturally in heavenly places beyond the cares or the woes of this world. So endured the pain and trauma to face tomorrow against all odds in Jesus Name.
Moses saw a burning bush that did not burn the trees. God tells Moses to take shoes off on Holy ground. After God appeared to Moses in the burning bush HE told him to return to Egypt to rescue Israelite slaves because their cries came up to God. Moses said to God, if they ask for a name of God of fathers what should I tell them?” God said tell them, “I AM WHO I AM.
Exodus 4:3-4. God instructs Moses to go to the king of Egypt for Israel freedom. Moses said, “What if they do not believe the LORD appeared to me God performs two miracles with Moses’ staff and hand
The LORD said to Moses, Stretch your hand and grap it by tail so he stretched his hand and caught it and it became a staff in his hand.
The LORD said to him put your hand into your bosom.” So he put his hand into his bosom, and when he took it out, his hand was leprous like snow and the hand leprous back to original form. The Lord told Moses to turn water from the river into blood as a sign.
Then He said, “Put your hand into your bosom again.” So he put his hand into his bosom again, and when he took it out of his bosom, behold, it was restored like the rest of his flesh. LORD I am not a good speaker or eloquent I am slow of speech. God reassured Moses HE gave humans their mouths, ears to hear and gives sight to blind? The Lord said send Aaron to help you.
“But if they will not believe even these two signs or heed what you say, then you shall take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground; and the water which you take from the Nile will become blood on the dry ground.
Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh, and did as the LORD commanded. So Aaron threw his staff down before Pharaoh and his servants and it turned into a snake. These signs were not enough for Pharaoh. “
So Moses and Aaron did even as the LORD had commanded. He lifted up the staff and struck the water in the Nile, in the sight of Pharaoh and his servants, and water in the Nile turned to blood.
So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.
The LORD did according to the word of Moses, and the frogs died out of the houses, the courts, and the fields.
They did so as Aaron stretched his hand with his staff, and struck the dust of the earth, and there were gnats on man and beast. All the dust of earth became gnats through all the land of Egypt.
“For if you do not let My people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies on you and on your servants and on your people and into your houses; and the houses of the Egyptians will be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground on which they dwell. “But on that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, where My people are living, so no swarms of flies will be there, in order that you may know that I, the LORD, am in the midst of the land. “I will put division between My people and your people tomorrow this sign will occur.
The LORD did as Moses asked, and removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants and from his people; not one remained.
The hand of the LORD will come with a severe pestilence on your livestock in the field, on horses, on donkeys, on the camels, on herds, and on flocks. “But the LORD will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and livestock of Egypt, so nothing will die that belongs to the sons of Israel.” The LORD set a definite time, saying, “Tomorrow the LORD will do this things in the land.”
So they took soot from a kiln, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses threw it toward the sky, and it became boils breaking out with sores on man and beast. The magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils were on the magicians as well as on all the Egyptians.
Moses stretched his staff toward the sky and the LORD sent thunder, hail, and fire ran down to the earth. And the LORD rained hail on the land of Egypt.
Moses went out of city from Pharaoh, and spread out his hands to the LORD; and the thunder and the hail ceased, and rain no longer poured on the earth.
So Moses stretched out his staff over the land of Egypt, and the LORD directed an east wind on the land all that day and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
The LORD shifted the wind to a strong west wind which took the locusts and drove them into the Red Sea; not one locust was left in all territory of Egypt.
So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days.
Now it came about at midnight that the LORD struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of cattle.
Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD swept the sea back by a strong east wind all night and turned the sea into dry land, so the waters were divided. The sons of Israel went through midst of the sea on dry land, and the waters like a wall to them on their right hand and on their left..
The LORD said to Moses, “Stretch your hand over the sea for waters to come back over Egyptians, their chariots and horsemen. Moses stretched his hand over the sea to return to normal state at daybreak. While Egyptians were in the sea the LORD overthrew Egyptians in the midst of the sea. The water returned and covered their chariots, horsemen, Pharaoh’s entire army in the sea after Jews so not even one of them remained.
Then he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree; and he threw it into the waters, and the waters became sweet There He made for them a statute and regulation, and there He tested them.
“Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
So it came about when Moses held his hand up, that Israel prevailed, and when he let his hand down, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands were heavy. Then they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other. Thus his hands were steady until the sun set. So Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
Moses said, “By this you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these deeds; for this is not my doing. “If these men die the death of all men or if they suffer the fate of all men, then the LORD has not sent me. “But if the LORD brings about an entirely new thing and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that is theirs, and they descend alive into Sheol, then you will understand that these men have spurned the LORD.
Exodus 20:1-26 On the third day, Moses received 10 Commandments on Mt Sinai near where God appeared to Moses in the burning bush.
Then Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came forth abundantly, and the congregation and their beasts drank.
Then the LORD said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a standard; and it shall come about, that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, he will live.” Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on the standard; and it came about if a serpent bit any man, when he looked to the bronze serpent, he lived.Exodus is the living history documented as shown in the above timeline of Israel from ancient history. The Jews lived in Cannaanland since the time of Abraham and migrated to Egypt during the severe famines that took place. Joseph brought his father Jacob, siblings and families to Egypt to settle in Goshen in Egypt. The Jews multiplied so rapidly despite their Egyptian Midwives warned to kill male children. The loyal Midwives preserved babies so rewarded with houses. Just as baby Moses escaped death of killing of the infants of Jews so Jesus escaped to Egypt as a baby from Herod. Moses was chosen and preserved by God to save the Jews in Egypt. The book of Micaiah in Bible says Moses will return to earth to join Elijah as two Witnesses to preach during endtimes. Together will help to repeat similar miracles again and more, then raised from death on the third day and taken to heaven alive. The miracles of Moses changing water of Nile river to blood is a symbolic link between Moses and Jesus. Moses is first saviour of Jew’s escape from Egypt as Jesus the Spiritual Saviour of all people. Moses and Jesus grew up in Egypt and will return to save people during endtime on earth. Bible in Deuteronomy 34:5-8 says Moses the servant of the LORD died in the land of Moab as Word of the LORD said 6 God buried him in the valley in the land of Moab beside Beth-peor, no man knows where he is buried to this day.7 Moses was 120 years old when he died. But his eyes were not weak and his strength had not left him. 8 The children of Israel cried for Moses in the valley of Moab for thirty days. Then days of crying and sorrow for Moses came to an end. And in Joshua 1:1-2 Bible says, 1 “After death of Moses Servant of the LORD the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying, 2 Moses MY servant is dead arise, go over Jordan with all this people to the land I gave to children of Israel. Moses died but his Spirit lived on so met Jesus and Elijah on the Mountain of transfiguration recognised by Peter, James and John. God confirms Jesus as His Beloved Son so listen and hear Him.
On the mountain in Matthew 17:2 Jesus was transfigured before Moses, Elijah, Peter, James and John. Jesus’ face then became shining as the sun, his garments white as light.” Transfiguration in front of the prophets Elijah and Moses, who appeared before Jesus confirms many interactions between heaven and earth as happens often. Jesus begins to talk to them and God affirms Jesus once again that Jesus is His Son and True Messiah. Peter wanted to built three tents for them to stay longer on the mountain top but was a preview of Jesus’ resurrection so not necessary. Moses and Elijah will return alive to earth as two witnesess in endtime evangelism to lead countless multitudes from all nations, tribes and languages to Christ to be saved in the name of Jesus. Later all will appear in heaven carrying branches before the Throne of God. Afterwards return with God to dwell eternally on a new perfect earth in New Jerusalem in Israel ruled by Jesus Christ.
Faith does the works of God in practical ways by applying theology to help others. And Jesus said whoever feeds or gives a coat, provides shelter or gives drink to the least in His Name is a sheep in His Kingdom. Faith in action works if the gospel preached with loving care to the people. Some think doing works of God earns ‘salvation’ some believers do not show kindness, compassion for fear of displeasing God become Scrooge. Justify lack of compassion by excuse is “works” but is this thinking correct? God commands farmers to leave edges of harvest for the poor and travellers to collect and eat for free. Other people help by donating to charity for good causes. But debate comes up because generosity to the stranger or others seen as lazy parasite. Some use excuse of sponsoring bad habit substance abuse, addiction to alcohol or drugs as reasons not to give. Situations of the homeless approaching others for help is considered an offence to beg so most turn to other ways to get funds but risk their lives. Many people refuse to give them support except to help themselves. In Bible on numerous occasions Jesus preached and taught the multitudes, He fed them. As gap widens between rich and the poor qualified but unemployed without wages on the zero hour contract life is difficult for them. Some are trained as back up emergency stand by staff to fill in for absent staff on vacation, sick or on maternity leave. Tied to company, cannot seek other jobs in the interim, with bills to pay and rent arrears while employers raise their own salaries and bonuses. So the question is how to reach out to help others without judging them. This debate between faith as God works of salvation and salvation based on faith alone exists for centuries. The Bible speaks volumes on this topic of salvation good works. Interpretation or proper understanding these passages is vital to our relationship with the Lord and relationship with others. Search for answers to this question in God’s Word says “Know, O foolish man faith without works is dead. Abraham our father was justified by faith works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar. So faith works together with GOD WORKS by works so faith is made perfect. A man is justified by works not by faith only says James 2:20, 22, 24.” Passage in James 2 proves faith alone is not good enough; we must demonstrate good works of salvation. It seems James is not teaching as Paul said salvation of faith alone in Romans 5:1. Time and time again, Paul says works cannot save but faith is knowing Lord Jesus as our Saviour. “For by Grace you are saved through faith not yourselves; so the GIFT of God not by works so none should boast in Ephesians 2:8-9.” James 2 in full context, is not telling us to earn salvation but confirms that good works helps prove we are really true believers. “Faith by itself works is dead. Show me faith without works and I will show you faith by works in James 2:17-18.” When we accept Christ as our Saviour, there is immediate change. A sinner is immediately forgiven, washed clean of sin and restored to a right relationship with the Lord. No fear of consequences of sin because fully justified in His eyes; covered by the blood of Jesus Christ and His SACRIFICE on the cross. The old self dies to become a new creation says 2 Corinthians 5;17.We are sanctified by blood of Jesus daily by process of constant learning to grow on faith journey. Cultivating the fruits of the spirit in Galatians 5:22-23 in serving God. And 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 reveals the intricacy of Body of Christ working together by love to bring Him Glory and share His Love and Truth in the world. Kindness, compassion and our love to others promotes work based salvation. Jesus moved with compassion in His ministry by His example so expects His followers to do so. Matthew 9:36; 14:14; Philippians 2:1-8; Ephesians 4:32 says be kind and loving to others as Jesus did to those around Him and even those who hated Him. Help and serve others but be not absorbed in works with improper motive. Not a people-pleaser by nature constantly looking for others to praise for good things done to get rewards. Jesus sees through ego or pride to earn His good favour by doing good things to others. Developing fruits of kindness and love is Godly works in life. Keeping the heart in check to ensure right motives to serve others. Knowing these things helps to save us so extremely important. The rich man in Bible missed heaven for mistreating Lazarus. God discerns the intentions of the heart and readily help us approach HIM in humility with desire to grow in faith. By our love others know we are Christians as the words of John 13:35 show, “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” It is a great reminder of the responsibility to love others the way God LOVES us. God is LOVE so whoever lives in love lives in God and God in them …We love because Jesus first Loved us,” in 1 John 4:16, 19. God’s LOVE is unconditional, endless so let’s rest in God’s amazing LOVE and extend love to our spouses, kids, friends and strangers in need of kind words or help. In Matthew 24:35, “Heaven and Earth shall pass away but MY WORDS Shall Not pass away. Psalms 119:11, “YOUR WORD I have I hidden in my heart so I will not sin against God and Joseph refused to sin against God. In Psalms 12:6, “The WORDS of the LORD are Pure Words, as silver is tried in furnace of Earth is Purified Seven Times.”Psalms 19:14 says “Let the WORDS of our mouth meditations of our Heart be acceptable in YOUR Sight O LORD Our Strength, and OUR Redeemer in Jesus Name. And Psalms 119:105 says “YOUR WORD is a Lamp unto my feet and Light to my Path!!! THANK YOU OUR FATHER LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. Thank you Son Lord Jesus and thank you Holy Spirit in helping us to love another in Jesus Name.
