The Jewish prophets spoke in the Scriptures in Isaiah 53:5, Zechariah 12:10, Micah 5:2, Daniel 9:24 about Messianic prophecies in the Tanakh. Yeshua is the fulfilment of the prophecies. So Christmas celebrates the miraculous virgin birth of Yeshua, Who was born to save the world from all sins. Yeshua was born in the fall around the time of Sukkot and not in the winter. It is important to remember Yeshua’s miraculous birth was also fulfilled by Isaiah’s Prophecy. Isaiah clearly knew who the Messiah would be 800 years before He was born according to Isaiah 7:14 in Bible!
Isaiah’s heart must have leapt for joy when he began writing those words of the coming Saviour Jesus Christ. Isaiah lived in Jerusalem almost 800 years before Yeshua’s birth as an ordinary Jewish man. Isaiah was married, had two sons, and worked as an official for King Uzziah during his early years then called by God to be a prophet so he obeyed call! Yeshua is the Saviour who was born in Bethlehem.

Shepherds visited as the angels told them about the birth so they brought Jesus presents. Jesus’ family and friends visited baby Immanuel and gave presents. Above all, they came together to help care for the baby Jesus and nurse Mary back to health. There are lots of extra food to eat and children play together. Isaiah’s Messianic Prophecies was read out loud to all by Jesus! Luke 4:16-21, says Yeshua went to Nazareth, where he was brought up, and on the Sabbath day He went into the synagogue, as was His custom.
Immanuel Stood Up to Read the scroll of prophet Isaiah which was handed to Him. Unrolling it, He found the place where it is written:“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He sent me to proclaim freedom for prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.” Yeshua said to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in me to your hearing.” God’s prophecy is accurately fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
God used ordinary people like Isaiah 2800 years ago! Today, God wants to use people like you, to proclaim His Word and His Prophecies of the Messiah to unsaved people in the world.

The Messiah reminds all the world of Yahweh’s Grace Mercy to save to redeem mankind from sin. The Hebrew prophet Zechariah 9:9 said Yeshua would ride a donkey into Jerusalem as part of fulfilment of Messianic prophecy. Messiah is the True Fulfilment of the Word of God and Eternal Life through God’s Chosen People in the Tanakh in the Holy Land. So the Gospel of Yeshua is the Good News Fulfilled as prophesied by Jewish prophets.Jesus in his adult years rode the donkey into Jerusalem with people shouting Hosanna to welcome Him into the City.
