JESUS IS THE LION OF JUDAH

The New Testament in Revelation 5:5: says “one elder said to John, weep not for the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll book to loose seven seals.” Jesus Christ is the ONLY One found Worthy Lion of Judah to count on among the Christians to open the scroll in heaven. Jesus, Lion of the Tribe of Judah, KING of Kings and Lord of lord’s overcame prowling demons devouring believers. Bible in Daniel 6:1-28 said administrator satrap’s exceptional qualities made king plan to set him a ruler over his whole kingdom. Administrators and satraps were jealous so tried to find charges against Daniel in his government affairs did not find anything against him for he is trustworthy, not corrupt or negligent.  5 The men cannot find charges against Daniel unless something to do with law of God.” The administrators and satrap group told king Darius, live forever! So the royal administrators, prefects, satraps, advisers, governors connived the king must issue an edict and enforce a decree anyone who prays to a god or human being in next thirty days, except to the king, shall be thrown in the lion’s den. 8 So issue a decree and write it so it cannot be altered in accordance with law of Medes and Persians or repealed. King Darius put the decree in writing. 10 Daniel learned decree was published so he went home upstairs in room with the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God as he had done always. 11 The men in group and found Daniel praying and asking God for help. 12 So they went to the king and spoke to him about royal decree published that during the next thirty days anyone praying to his God or human being except to you, would be thrown into the lion’s den?” The king said, “The decree stands in accordance with the law of the Medes and Persians, so cannot be repealed.” 13 They said to the king, “Daniel, one of the exiles from Judah, pays no attention to you or to the decree you put in writing. He still prays three times a day.” 14 When the king heard this, he was greatly distressed; he wanted to rescue Daniel so made every effort until sundown to save him. 15 The men told King Darius, “Remember, that according to the law of the Medes and Persians no decree or edict a king issues can be changed.” 16 So the king gave the order so they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions’ den. The king said to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!” 17 A stone was brought and placed over mouth of den, and king sealed it with his own signet ring and the rings of his nobles, so that Daniel’s situation might not be changed. 18 The king returned to his palace, spent the night without eating, entertainment and he could not sleep. 19 At first light of dawn the king got up and hurried to the lion’s den. 20 He came near den, called Daniel in anguish, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually rescued you from the lions?” 21 Daniel said, “King live forever! 22 My God sent his angel to shut mouths of the lions so did not hurt me, because I was innocent in HIS sight. Have I done any wrong before your majesty?” 23 The king overjoyed and orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he trusted in his God. 24 At king’s command the men who falsely accused Daniel were brought in and thrown into lions’ den, along with their wives and children. Before they reached the floor of the den, the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones. 25 King Darius wrote to all nations and people of every language in all the earth: “May you prosper greatly!

26 “I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel.

“For he is the living God
    and he endures forever;
his kingdom will not be destroyed,
    his dominion will never end.
27 He rescues and he saves;
    he performs signs and wonders
    in the heavens and on the earth.
He has rescued Daniel
    from the power of the lions.”

28 Daniel prospered during the reign of Darius and reign of Cyrus the Persian.behold-he-is-coming-the-lion-of-the-tribe-of-15304741The Bible says Jesus Lion of Judah has defeated the devil prowling like a lion looking for those to devour. The devil targets people to destroy if God permits it according to Jeremiah 50:7 to force those devoured by adversaries to run to God. They offend not, used against those who sin against God separated by their sin abandoned God fulfill God’s designs to plague them into submission to God. And 1 Peter 5:8 says, be alert, be sober because enemy the devil prowls around be vigilant to defeat adversary the devil, roaring like lion, walking about, seeking those to devour so watch in Jesus Name. The devil is not a real lion like Lion of the tribe of Judah but tries to act like a powerful being, deceiving people and misleading them to sin for destruction by God. Some people perish for lack of accurate real true knowledge that saves and protects them from the devil. This is important to test the spirits to know if it from God. Anyone that does not confess the Name of Jesus the Lion of Judah is at risk from judgement from God as Bible says. Often the lion is described as king of jungle forest as it behaves towards the other animals, fearless, intimidates preys on victims, scares and pounces on them unexpectedly. Yet at times the lion is conquered and killed by these other animals too. POWER pass power so the lion has limits in the PRESENCE of God. This is why Daniel’s life was preserved by God and he survived the enemy’s evil plans against him due to jealousy. In the same way God delivers all who call Lion of Tribe of Judah, Jesus’ Mighty Name so saved from evil covered by His BLOOD in victory. GLORY to God.

PRAYER: Psalm 6

Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger
    or discipline me in your wrath.
Have mercy on me, Lord, I feel faint,  heal me, Lord my bones are in agony.
My soul is in deep anguish.
    How long, Lord, how long?

Turn, Lord, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love.
Among the dead no one proclaims your name. Who praises you in grave?

I am worn out from groaning. All night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears.

My eyes grow weak with sorrow;
    they fail because of all my foes.

Away from me, all you who do evil,
    for the Lord has heard my weeping.
The Lord has heard my cry for mercy;
    the Lord accepts my prayer.
10 All my enemies will be overwhelmed with shame and anguish; they will turn back and suddenly be put to shame.

PRAYER: Psalm 35

35 Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation. Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that device my hurt. Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord chase them. Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the Lord persecute them. For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul. Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall. And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation. 10 All my bones shall say, Lord, who is like you who deliveres the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoil him?11 False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.  12 They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul. 13 But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom. 14 I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourns for his mother. 15 But in mine adversity they rejoiced, gathered themselves together: yea, the enemies gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not: 16 With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth. 17 Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions. 18 I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people. 19 Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause. 20 For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land. 21 Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it. 22 This thou hast seen, O Lord: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me. 23 Stir up thyself, and awake to my rescue, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord. 24 Save me LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me. 25 Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up. 26 Let them be ashamed, brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame, dishonour that magnify themselves against me. 27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. 28 And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

PRAYER: Psalm 91

91 He who dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, HE is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in HIM will I trust. Surely HE shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from noisome pestilence. HE will cover you with HIS feathers, and under HIS wings you will trust: HIS truth shall be your shield and buckler. You will not be afraid of the terror by night; or the arrow that flies by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; or the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with your eyes shall thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because you made the LORD, your refuge, even the most High, your habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall a plague come nigh your dwelling. 11 For HE shall give HIS angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. 12 They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. 13 You shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. 14 Because you hath set your love on ME, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he knows MY NAME. 15 He shall call upon ME, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Praise God.
