HOW LONG OH LORD JESUS?

timingEvents or tragedy create urgent longing to be rescued from the challenges faced daily. People wonder how to cope often asking how long they have to wait for LORD’S Divine intervention in Christ. 2 Peter 3:4 in the Bible describes the glorious hope of believer’s expectation of Jesus in the clouds for Rapture and Second Coming later on earth to rule. 1. In second epistle Paul writes to beloved believers, to stir up pure minds to remember to hope in God.  2. To be mindful of words spoken by holy prophets and commandment of apostles of Lord Jesus Saviour. 3. Know there shall come in the last days scoffers walking after their own lust so 4. saying Where is the promise of His Coming? Since the fathers fell asleep all things continue as it was since the beginning of creation. 5. For they are ignorant that by the word of God the heavens of old and the earth stand in water. In water 6 past world existence ended overflowed by water and so perished The heavens and earth by same word kept reserved for day of judgment and perdition’s fire for ungodly men. Angels promised disciples Jesus will return to earth in same way He ascended into heaven seated at RIGHT Hand of God. It is written many events will precede His coming so challenging to wait by faith.god-has-not-forgotten-you

Psalm 13 also asks How Long, O LORD? as passage questions How long O Lord? Will you forget us forever? How long O LORD will you hide your face from us? 2 How long must we wait for you for the relief in our soul to stop sorrow in our hearts all the day? How Long, O LORD is the desire in our hearts for God’s quick Divine intervention materialise. Peter tells us the LORD is not slow to fulfill HIS promise as some count slowness in 2 Peter 3:9. God knows HE sometimes appears slow to us, but for HIS merciful reasons given in the Bible shows HE is compassionate toward us when we wait for help according to HIS OWN timings. Habakkuk 1:2 also asks How long LORD, must we call for help before you listen? O LORD, how long shall we cry before you hear when we cry out to you about violence to save mankind! Christians all over the world cry day and night to God asking, How long Oh LORD must we call for your help to save to rescue from evil perdition of ungodly men. Beloved be not ignorant that ONE DAY with Father LORD God is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like ONE DAY to God.1-john-5-13

The LORD is not slow concerning HIS promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us not willing any should perish, but that all should come to repentance for salvation in Christ. So the LORD is patient granting more time and hoping that many more people will repent and change before its too late. 10 For the DAY of the LORD will come as a thief in the night in which the heavens shall pass away with great noise and the elements melt with such fervent heat so earth and the works in it will be burned up. 11 Seeing all these things dissolved it is crucial the manner of persons to be in all holy conversations and in Godliness as we wait for redemption in Christ. So 12 Looking for Rapture and the Coming of DAY of God when heaven’s fire shall dissolve the elements with fervent heat. Yet have CONFIDENCE IN GOD IN JESUS 13 according to His promise, looking for new heavens and a new earth to dwell in righteousness. After all said and done 14 beloved look diligently with vigilance and found in Jesus in peace without any spot and blameless. 15 Longsuffering in our Lord’s salvation beloved Paul wrote according to wisdom given to him, gives hope to endure to the end to be saved. It is in 16 his epistles the things some find hard to understand if they, unlearned in Scriptures or unstable, wrestle to their own destructions. 17 Beloved, since you know these things beware you are not led away with error of the wicked to fall from steadfastness in Christ. 18 Grow in grace in knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forevermore. Amen.

BUILDING A BABY’S BRAINS

pastedImageTop 10 tips to building a baby’s brain as Blackpool Better Start believes, building a brain is a lot like building a house and so must have strong foundation. Strong foundation builds the stronger resilient communities to help parents, essential for healthy structure of child’s brain.”

1) Support

Get support to create a solid foundation by ensuring that parents and caregivers have the right information and support available to meet a baby’s needs. In UK, Blackpool and other parts of country, having parents attend their antenatal programme and being involved with your health visitor, midwife and other people are there to support you through your pregnancy is really important during that transition into parenthood.Reading_800x534

2) Positive nurturing interaction

Developing a brain is an interactive process. ‘Serve and return’ activities can help with this – that’s the “goo goo” and “gaa gaa”, when you respond to what your child is saying to you. It’s like a tennis match. Maybe your child gives you a tissue, you take is and say “thank you”. Embracing those ‘serve and return’ opportunities helps build those interactions.

3) Read, read, read

Research shows us how beneficial reading is to a child’s development. The evidence we have proves children who are read to, by parents or caregivers do better in school. The have higher self-esteem, develop better relationships with other children and are better behaved. We recommend reading 15 minutes a day to your child – that does make a difference to their development.

4) Talk to Babies Early

When adults interact and elaborate what the child is saying to them – like asking questions, sharing rhymes and songs – then children start to develop those cognitive skills and the tools they need to succeed. Even when the child is saying something that’s not particularly intelligible, start a conversation with your child and let them recognise that you will interact with them in that way.

5) Managing stresses

We know that some stress is considered to be good – like meeting a new person, that can be good for a child. It’s for children who grow up in chronically stressful environments, they might be subject to violence, abuse and neglect. Those children experience ‘toxic stress’ and we talk with families about what toxic stress looks like and the impact is has on that child. Caregivers should be aware of the environment a child is in, be able to comfort them when they’re upset and calm their emotions. Helping a child’s stress response system come back to normal levels is really, really important.Family_Singing

6) Be attuned, responsive

The relationship between the main caregiver allows the baby to grow physically, emotionally, intellectually. We know that babies and children need to feel safe, protected and nurtured by caregivers, to identify responds to the child’s needs. Unresponsiveness lead to difficulties socially, behaviourally and emotionally which may affect the child’s physical and emotional development.

7) Outdoors

Remember the importance of outdoor play by using open spaces, parks and other outdoor settings. Look for outdoor opportunities which are vital for brain development and we know that play is essential for a child’s learning and well-being. It can help the parents too. Being outside as a family, particularly if you live in a small house or don’t have much space, getting outside and doing some activity can make you feel better, is good for the child and it’s free!

8) Nutrition and diet

A poor diet can negatively affect a child’s brain development and nervous system. But for us, it’s supporting parents getting their child into solid food. We know breastfeeding is really good for nutrition, because the milk in a mum’s body changes everyday to give the child what they need. We also know that once you move on to solid food, it’s about looking at what kind and how you serve the food to a child. There needs to be a good range of foods that will address their nutrition and diet.

9) Mum & dad take care

Obviously a expectant mother needs to be taken care of during pregnancy, because that vital for the wellbeing of the baby, but that continues well after birth. Establishing regular routines for sleep helps with brain development and stress, as does physical activity. Being physically active for 60 – 90 minutes a day helps strengthen brain connection with motor skills, balance, vision and other abilities. It also helps combat stress for mum. We think mums who have good nutirion, who are acitive during pregnancy are able to have a healthier birth.4-ways-to-nurture-your-childrens-growing-brain-2

10) Communities

We talk about communities a lot, because it’s not just the parents that help grow the child, it’s the whole community and extended family. Studies have shown that children tend to do better from strong, supportive communities. Everything we do is based around gearing up communities and parents to do more for themselves, by giving the community members skills, making them more understanding about child development and what they can do to support that. Children centres, peer supporters and trained volunteers can offset poverty and other risk factors in early development.

FOOD AND MENTAL HEALTH

dieta-alzheimer-272x300Whenever it comes to taking care of your mental health one of the first things to consider if you’re feeling down in the dumps, stressed, unfocused, or anxious is the food you eat. Yes, that’s right what you eat, how clean or well-oiled food is so to speak affects stomach and bowels and has a lot to do with your moods and how you feel on top of doing things in life. Shauna Faulisi, holistic nutritionist and founder of a Soul Wellness Method told Elite Daily the stomach is a second brain of your body with relationship to serotonin production neurotransmitters in the body that regulates moods and overall immunity. Faulisi adds this idea is one of the first things tackled when she meets with new clients. Foods eaten will either feed the good or bad bacteria affecting mental health. And nourishing food diets by taking probiotics noticed a major improvement in own emotional well-being when she started doing both of these things. It seems obvious, at least in some way how food affects mood but truly science exists behind it all experts, say not something to be ignored when it comes to taking care of mental health. In fact, it might be one of the first things to consider if you’re feeling down in the dumps, stressed, unfocused, or anxious.pic Sugar is often snuck into foods eaten so feeds the bad bacteria and wreak havoc on good. Alcohol, refined carbohydrates and processed food Faulisi recommends focusing on foods feeding good bacteria, above-ground vegetables or bone broth, sauerkraut examples. Concentrating on incorporating kinds of such foods into your diet, means “your body and mind thank you,” says Faulisi. Dr. Michael Wald, MD, DC, dietician and board certified nutritionist breaks down this whole food and mood idea more for us. The direct link between the health of intestinal tract and brain,” he tells Elite Daily is essential. Gut’s more serotonin than brain is a chemical responsible for good feelings important intestinal tract and nervous system functions. It’s anti-inflammatory helps to promote better sleep. Neuroscience says the healthier your gut is it shows result of foods you eat. The better chance your body has to produce feel-good chemicals to improve your overall mood.logicas_cerebrais_podem_pesar_na_balanca_1__2015-04-23160411

Whatever food is put into your mouth, she explains, is going to spend the next three days traveling through digestive tract, permeating intestinal walls to be absorbed into your body’s circulatory system and tissues. “Your overall health is significantly affected by what you eat, she tells Elite Daily. Dr. Trattner says the research really shows our guts are so sensitive and filled with impressionable nerves they are, indeed, as Faulisi said, often referred to as our second brain. “The digestive system doesn’t think for us, but it does play a key role in certain diseases and communicates with brain,” Dr. Trattner explains. So, along with the foods you eat, Dr. Trattner recommends making probiotics a regular part of your daily routine, avoid refined foods with lots of sugar, estrogens and fat. mental-health-and-nutrition-1-638 downloadTherefore keep away from all processed foods or at least make it a point to snack on them in moderation. You will notice boost in your mood and mind as result. The body of evidence linking diet and mental health is growing at a rapid pace as reports show level of mental health problems of eating fewer healthy foods. Fresh fruits, vegetables, organic foods and meals made from scratch are more healthy foods than the chips and crisps, chocolate, ready meals and takeaways. Food and mood, mind the mental health charity helps those with mental health problems to eat better good mood foods. Vegetables and fruit contain a lot of the minerals, vitamins and fibre we need to keep us physically and mentally healthy. Eating variety of the different coloured fruits and vegetables every day means you will get a good range of nutrients. Eating well for mental health says Royal College of Psychiatrists in health advice. Food-and-Mood-tips-for-your-mental-healthModern user-friendly evidence-based information on eating well, nutrition and mental health is produced by the Royal College of Psychiatrists. The link between food and mental health by the Psychological Association recommends good nutrition to improve your mental health. So put all this newfound foodie knowledge to the test next time you’re shopping for groceries, and pop a few of the recommended foods like fermented coconut yogurt, sauerkraut along with probiotics, into your basket. Growing research literature answers Western-style dietary habits in particular under special scrutiny. The modern high rate of depression says what you eat affects mental health. A large body of evidence existing confirms diet is as important to mental health as it is to physical health,” says Felice Jacka, the president of the International Society for Nutritional Psychiatry Research. “A healthy diet is protective and unhealthy diet is risk factor in depression anxiety.” So pay more attention to the food you eat to improve your mood and mental health.

ACTIVELY DEEP LISTENING

post_SilentListen_121816Actively deep listening to hear correctly, affirm and understand what people are saying means a lot to them. It is more than being a sounding board to help talk and discuss life matters. To be allowed into the deepest inner thoughts of a person takes courage so be present in here and now. Affirm by nodding and agreeing, saying “yes” to fully engage in the conversation is part of the process to ensure properly hearing person. And a feedback clarifies topics discussed to reassure person listening attentively. Be polite if speaker feels stressed, anxious, calm them, pay attention to help them open up to share innermost feelings or thoughts. It is encouraging to build their confidence to reflect on their plans and fears. Art of listening, hearing is act of love, takes commitment, ability to read between lines and desire to understand, appreciate person talking. Greatest gift coaches have is ability to help people to know where they are coming from. Listening (1)Understandably needs to provide a safe space to see life from their standpoint is so important and necessary. Life can feel lonely sometimes so knowing that someone really cares and understands matters. It is important to open up to share true feelings without thinking being judged. Health and wellbeing help the lonely or isolated to express inner thoughts and their ideas of life. A phone call to friend or passing time of the day with colleagues is what makes society happy and cohesive by including others. Idealised happiness of fantasy, domestic bliss on social media on the Facebook is unnatural needs so private, confidential space helps open up to deal with what is not working in life.Couple speaking on a benchCoach Kenny Mammarella D’Cruz, The Man Whisperer, talks of importance of men opening up, sharing “without any judgments, ‘shoulds’ or ridicule” as he regularly feels safe in his men’s groups. His workshops and meet-ups invaluable for men from teens to pensioners and offers support, understanding and the reassurance that someone really has got your back. Today ask someone about themselves, really listen, reflect and say something generous or insightful back. Watch their faces. Our ears never get us into trouble and here is a lovely quote, as David Augsburger’s thought sums up: “Being heard is so close to being loved that for the average person they are almost indistinguishable.”

A SOCIAL GOSPEL OF JESUS

the-new-evangelization-and-social-justice-6-638Jesus preached a social gospel typically to diverse audience of religious leaders, governors, media, officials, the masses, to reach their heart, mind, body, soul to relate with others on Godly terms. This theme King put in historical context as part of social justice to bring awareness to each other. Especially with regard to God’s superabundant human resources provided and entrusted to all as stewards. Reverend King, the prophet, theologian, scholar, preacher, pastor dwelt on these social gospel themes analysing society’s lifelong struggles for economic justice, empowerment of the poor working-class people of all colours. King described himself as “profound advocate of social gospel” who tried to teach the capitalist system not to put profit, property rights ahead of basic human rights demanded people have adequate food, education, housing, decent job, well paid income. His more revolutionary quest for social justice, society above racist poverty, prevention of war not celebrated as his peaceful civil rights movement. Martin Luther King Jr. emphasised there is no intrinsic difference between workers. And King told American Federation of Labour and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) an American important trade union in 1963, that skin colour, ethnicity must not divide those working for a living, he said. “Economic justice,” King said, required land so men must not take all the basic necessities to give luxuries to the few,” and “where all our gifts and resources are held not for ourselves alone but as instruments of service for the rest of humanity.” Same year, King called on President J. F Kennedy to honour emancipation of African-Americans from slavery in 100 years before. King said, a new freedom agenda is necessary. People gather at the end of the Poor People March on 19 June 19 1968 in Washington DC.This agenda was not only about civil rights so 28 August demonstration culminated in King’s “I Have a Dream” speech publicized 4th April Washington for Job Freedom. It was result of many years of organizing by black workers and their unions. In his speech, King said nations gave former slaves a “bad check” promise of freedom that did not materialize. And generations later, his dream is for equal rights for substantive change in people’s economic and social conditions. Though country’s adoption of Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act completed “first phase” of freedom movement King said. The “second phase” was for “economic equality” so everyone could have a well-paying job or basic level of income with decent levels of healthcare, education and housing. In October 1966, 100,000 copies of the booklet A Freedom Budget for All Americans, with introduction by King distributed by unions. Freedom Budget proposed a second New Deal to promote job growth of living wages for public spending on social goods. After 50 years since Martin Luther’s demand for equal human rights for all people, it is sad go say things have gotten worse. Although it is true that great strides are achieved since 50 years, some of these issues got worse for working classes. So many are suffering although they built the country and their labour, resourses or blood sacrificed as veterans to fight and defend country they do not receive the due entitlement. As a matter of fact society has shifted from human centred needs of Marlow’s hierarchy to selfish few depriving the majority. The divide of haves and have nots intensified and so many thousands now homeless and without food daily. It is scandalous tons of perfectly good food, clothes, items are thrown away instead of giving it to poor starving and dying daily. Government issued final warning to the businesses to report gender pay gap by midnight it emerged Conservative party did not plan to file its own figures until a day after the deadline. Amber Rudd, the minister for women and equalities as well as home secretary, said there was no excuse for businesses not to be transparent as deadline on Wednesday 4th approached warned them refusing to report is breaking law. Jesus-expulsa-vendilhoes-do-templo IMG_20180424_195818Those with 250 or more employees had until before midnight to meet the legal requirement to report a pay gap data to government or face enforcement action by Equality Commission. 50 years after Martin Luther King’s pleas for the social and economic system justice still society seems worse off. Jesus said the rich are getting richer while the poor get poorer due to greed of those in charge of God’s resources misallocated. Hardworking people are poorest dealing with lack of resources, hunger, poverty inspite of challenges keep their heads up high with dignity. Those in charge label them “lazy” underclass not worth same equal treatment. Those entrusted responsible to provide equally for them hurt them by their unfair policies. The world sees more wealth and more resources than ever before limited exclusively to those few privileged at the top. They ensure all their needs and luxurious wants met but despise other’s needs and refuse to provide for them. Many suffer and die needlessly because of such treatments and unfair policies. #Paymetoo women’s platform seeks justice from boardrooms exclusively run by men without realistic knowledge of women and family needs. Society is still run by draconian policies that treat women as inferior weaker sex not competent as male counterparts. So refuse to recognise great talents and the achievements of women globally in all spheres of life. Some men literally think paying women well diminishes power over them use pay gap to bully women. Interesting colleagues trained by same experts, graduates of same universities, employed by same company refuse to pay them equally because is male and other female. Gender is used to punish career women working twice to run the home, family and gender discrimination at work. 21st Century women in space contribute to all aspects of life. Behind every successful man is a woman and men need women’s input so pay well. It is important macho policies recognise a need to provide to help working-class children’s life chances and wellbeing as they are introducing policies actively to make their lives worse. Look at anti-welfare measures like cutting “in-work” benefits freezing housing and children’s benefits. So education system scrapped education maintenance grants, stripped school budgets so teachers are unable to afford paper for their pupils. Closure of local youth clubs and children’s centres as research from Barnardo’s this week finds funding to early-years children’s services has been cut by 50% in some areas since 2010. Families now choose between eating and buying medicines. social justice and the gospelPeople gather at the end of Poor People March on 19 June 1968 in Washington DC. Photograph: Arnold Sachs/AFP/Getty Images Before travelling to Memphis in 1968 to participate in garbage-workers’ strike King had been criss-crossing the country for weeks, promoting a multi-racial coalition to pressure Congress to reallocate money from Vietnam war to money for human needs. King called it Poor People’s Campaign so promoted an economic bill of rights for all Americans including five pillars of meaningful jobs at a living wage; a secure and adequate income; access to land; access to capital, for poor people, minorities; ability for ordinary people to play truly significant role in government. It was, King said, a “last ditch” effort to save America from the interrelated evils of racism, poverty and war. Historians constantly search for and reshape knowledge of the past, based on challenges faced in their own times. Public awareness focus on King’s “first phase” of the movement, for civil voting, rights, a plethora of scholarship sees King as inconvenient hero who led a movement beyond civil rights to more fundamental economic or social change.JIMEverything decent and fair in American life is under threat, King said in his time so all must do well to remember a fight for economic justice as King’s dream for better encompassing American society. Remembering King’s economic justice, broadly conceived helps understand the relevance of his legacy today. It helps us to realize King’s moral discourse of the gap between “haves and the have-nots” from his role in labour movement and civil rights movements. Remembering eloquent man in the Lincoln Memorial in 1963, remembers King as man on the streets, sitting in jail cells, or as a man rousing workers at union conventions and on union picket lines. Remembered as nonviolent surrounded by a violent police, screaming mobs, and physically assaulted by white racists sometimes. It is essential all nations remember King’s crusade seeking justice and fairness for all alternatives to America’s exploitative racial capitalism. King is remembered as a pioneer helping to understand the agenda for modern times. Exploitative capitalism will come to an end as Bible warns in the book of Revelations.

LIVING COURAGEOUS LIVES

Princess-eugenie-scoliosis-929007PRINCESS Eugenie opened up about battle with debilitating scoliosis which left her with 2 large metal rods in her back. The emotional royal, who will marry Jack Brooskbank in the same venue at Prince Harry and Meghan in October, paid tribute to her older sister Princess Beatrice for her support ever since she was diagnosed and underwent treatment aged 12. Her determination to fight through pain of scoliosis means spine twists and curves to side. During a speech at youth empowerment WE Day in Wembley, London, on Wednesday, Eugenie said her sister encouraged her not to be disheartened. The princess, daughter to the Duke and Duchess of York, urged women to “live fearlessly” in the face of adversity. The 27-year-old told audience: “When I was 12 I was diagnosed with and treated for, scoliosis has two twelve inch metal rods in her back. Understands pain in life but it did not stop her from doing the things she loves to do. Said sister encouraged her not to get disheartened, not give up live fearlessly. Today, able to get to work with and support the young people going through same things, encourage them to not let diagnosis win so live courageous lives. Credits bigger sister’s inspiration, love, team work, support in messages from their speech: “Never give up, find that tiny game inside you that gives you the belief you can change the world so you don’t have to face anything alone. Their mother Sarah Ferguson Duchess of York tweeted congratulations to daughters on Twitter posting: Leading by example of unity and confidence. Well done. And Princess Eugenie announce engagement to long-term partner Jack Brooskbank in January. The pair will tie the knot at St George’s Chapel, Windsor the same place where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will marry October 12.
