Ezekiel 11:19-20 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh and give them heart of flesh, 20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their Elohim. Scripture helps us to establish faith to understand the righteous standard of God and hear the Word as doers. Yet remembering to focus on the Word of God is a challenge in a too much information highway life. But it means diligently study His Face to deliver us from slavery of sin. The Holy Spirit implants in our new hearts God’s living sermon making us Ambassadors of Christ representing Kingdom of God in our heart to world. The distractions of life and difficulties of everyday life cause the word of God to drift from our minds and hearts if we are not alert. A season of hardships becomes times of trials testing our faith in God to remain Faithful in adversity. Often people say ” do not lose heart” meaning confidence in God can be shaken by circumstances of life. Though shaken but not stirred by fear to give up on God. That is the time to run to God to embrace His Love more than ever before. Feeding our mind and Spirit with encouraging words of God builds up faith to be strong in the LORD and to live in the POWER of HIS MIGHT. Jesus literally carries us in His footsteps when heavily weighed down. The Holy Spirit hears our groanings so takes over to intercede with Jesus on our behalf to God. Jesus is anointed by God to heal all the broken-hearted people hurt, abused offended, disappointed in the Church. It is the Holy Spirit that brings the comfort and healing into damaged hearts. Many trials and traumas have caused pain in our hearts but Jesus can heal us if we let Him. We are not to depend, rely on our own minds because the Bible warns us not to lean on our own understanding. A perfect time to examine your spiritual health and recalibrate your heart is use a safe facility centre to reflect on your life. Personal revival is the key to open your heart and soul to Jesus away from a busy world distractions. Tough times affects focus not to remember Goodness of God. Issues of life become bigger than they are so we need places of retreat to regenerate recharge our life batteries. A Sanctuary away from rat race becomes useful time to reflect, seek help from the trained counsellors if necessary. Others take time out from hustle bustle of work life to think through circumstances and make better choices and decisions. This helps a person recover from emotional, physical or psychological traumas. And a choice to seek help may depend on the resources and funding available to each person. The heart is subject to change of experiences encountered and personal attitude towards life. Believe in God and confidence in HIS Words feeds the mind and Spirit with soul food. It is essential to treat emotional and physical heart as the effects of trauma can affect both if a person is predisposed to any symptoms. The spiritual heart requires the regular check up with the word of God to keep fit as part of an emotional exercise. The believing heart is softened towards God and His Words but message of the Cross is foolishness to those perishing. A foolish man says there is no God is what the Bible says. Without a heart for God in Christ it is hard to believe in God. The heart is exposed to many different ideas and adverts so it can make it difficult to know what to believe. The manual for life is the Bible to guide us to know how to respond to circumstances in life. The human heart is deceitful and can be evil without knowledge and understanding from God. And going to Church does not a person a believer just as if sleeping in garage does not make you a car. This is why we guard our hearts from what we hear, see or watch. World events impact thought process stored in subconscious mind. The heart replays and relays such ideas to the mind to filter and to express how we feel about situations in life. The processes happens so automatically we may not realise it’s happening. We are to guard our hearts because out of the heart proceeds evil. Jesus said that what proceeds from the heart defiles the man so be careful what you store in mind or your heart. God over rules the heart to direct and control when necessary but gives freewill choice to make decisions.A heart of a king is in the hands of God says Proverbs 21:1 to be turned where God wants to turn it to do HIS bidding. Proverbs 21:1 says the king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD like the rivers of water turns when HE WILLS. Pharaoh’s heart was hardened to accomplish God’s purpose in Egypt for the Exodus. So the rebellious heart becomes insensitive to the Spirit and Word of God until there is a time God is forced to intervene. As the end time events happen its important to call upon God for HIS Grace, Mercy and Compassion. All need Jesus now more than ever before to Remind God of HIS Promises to give HIM no rest for HIS ANSWERS to prayer to restore or bring changes in the world. At times God’s Grace seems delayed than expected but it does not mean its forgotten. Timing is necessary to know that the anticipated expectations are from God according to HIS plans and purposes for our lives. At times our thoughts are not in line with desires of our hearts. God’s thoughts are Higher than our thoughts and the plans or purposes of our hearts. Congruence with the word of God in important to be living within these Biblical will of God.
