GOD JESUS EARTHQUAKES

maxresdefault (2)

How could God of love let many people die from earthquakes, killer hurricanes, catastrophic tsunamis, tornados, strong typhoons, cyclones, mudslides and the wildfires or the other natural disasters? Tragedies cause many people to question God’s Goodness and distressing natural disasters are often termed “acts of God.” Why such bizarre carnage and chaos? Is God really responsible for the terrible catastrophes? The God of love gives life and love to billions of people who wake up to beautiful fresh air, warm sunshine, delicious good food, comfortable homes because God is love and HE showers HIS blessings on earth. God’s design is HIS sons and daughters should forever smell fragrance of exotic flowers not rotting corpses. All should always be happy to enjoy the delicacies of tropical fruit and tasty dishes, not face hunger starvation.Global Earthquake and Volcanic Activity Spiking.jpgGod is the ONE who Provides fresh air from a mountain top and cool sparkling water, not ugly pollution. God is Patent Creator Owner of life so God must be acknowledged daily in life in the world subject to death from variety of sources. Remember Jesus said, unless all repent shall likewise perish. Calamities serve to remind apart from salvation Jesus offers, there is no hope for the human race. So expected is more and more destruction coming closer to the time of Jesus Return to earth. “Now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than we first believe in Romans 13:11. God cursed ground for punishment sake so in sorrow mankind eats of it all the days of life in Genesis 3:17. So then descendants of Adam became so violent and corrupt, God allowed the world to be destroyed by the global flood in Genesis 6:5,11. The fountains of the deep were broken up in Genesis 7:11 so there was great volcanic activity.worldtopo_plates.jpgThe layers of the earth’s crust formed and nature turned off God-given course. The stage was set for earthquakes and killer storms. The consequences of sin progressed from that day as natural world is nearing its end; the results of our first parents’ disobedience becoming more and more evident as this world is wearing out. God is in business rescuing, helping, and healing. HE gives salvation and everlasting life to all who receive Him. Jesus Christ holds all of nature together in Colossians 1:16-17. The Bible in 2 Chronicles 7:14, God says, if my people who are called by MY NAME humble themselves, and pray and seek MY Face, turn from their wicked ways then I will HEAR from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land. So Almighty Good God can prevent natural disasters Absolutely but Natural laws of cause and effect set in motion follows its natural course consequence of sin.earthquakes1b.jpgGod sometimes influences the weather as see inDeuteronomy 11:17 and James 5:17. Also Numbers 16:30-34 shows God sometimes causes natural disasters as a judgment against sin. So Bible describes events definitely described as natural disasters in Revelation 6, 8, and 16. But every natural disaster is not punishment from God. God is not in the business of causing natural disasters and calamities. On the contrary, He is giver of life. The Bible says, “ the heavens shall vanish away like smoke and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but My salvation shall be for ever, and My righteousness shall not be abolished in Isaiah 51:6. Text declares a dramatic difference between natural calamities and works of God. The salvation Jesus offers hope for all the human race. The salvation of Jesus includes His Coming to Rescue and save His people eternally. A sign of coming is earthquakes increasing simultaneously in diverse places as the siesmography records accurate evidence. 4a75264755172405602b3a7259ed346b.jpgExpected more of more destruction coming closer to the time of His return to earth. “Now is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than first believed” in Romans 13:11. So natural disasters cause many millions of people to reevaluate their priorities in life. Hundreds of millions of dollars in aid is sent to help those people who are suffering. Christian ministries have the opportunity to help, minister, counsel, pray lead many people to saving faith in Christ! God CAN and DOES bring great good out of terrible tragedies in Romans 8:28. Calamities and catastrophes engulf world serve as reminders this world of sin, pain, hate, fear, tragedy will not last forever. Jesus Promised He Will RETURN to Earth to save world falling to pieces.39It seems to many earthquakes are on the rise and earthquakes play a role in Bible prophecy. In 1 Kings 19:11-13 Elijah came to meet with God after wind, earthquake, and fire, God Spoke in Still Small Voice. The other earthquakes are mentioned in book of Revelation 6:12-17; 8:5; 11:13,19; 16:16,21. Also books of Isaiah 2:19,21; 5:25; 24:19, Ezekiel 38:19,20, Joel 2:10; 3:16 Zechariah 14:4,5. A number of the prophecy teachers point to an increase in number of earthquakes and associate these quakes with the words of Jesus to show we are in or near last days Matthew 24:7. One major birthpang Jesus predicts is increase in frequency and intensity of earthquakes shortly before His return. There actually is increase in earthquake activities as Jesus really said. Geological department data and statistics reveal an increase in earthquakes accurately as Jesus foretold before He returns.fJesus also predicted fall of Temple which happened, prophecied strife, famines, deadly diseases. So Jesus Christ Yeshua Ha’Mashiach in Hebrew tells us a sign that we are entering into the last days is the increase in frequency and sizes of earthquakes. Described as the “birth pangs,” these “pains” will continue to grow worse and worse, coming closer and closer together, is sign of preparing to enter Apocalypse. Jesus Christ warns there will be Great Tribulation such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time nor ever shall be. So unless those days were shortened no flesh would be saved according to Matthew 24:21-22. So Jesus Yeshua warns never in the history of Mankind has there been anything as terrible on Earth as coming Apocalypse “Great Tribulation” and “The Day of God’s Wrath”few remnant of world will survive.earthquake_when So to understand purpose of earthquakes in End Times one must examine God’s purpose for earthquakes in history. In the middle of 8th century BC,“Big One” hit Middle East. Examined biblical record of archaeological evidence of earthquake points to previous past and future ones as Jesus predicted. In the Bible prophet Amos brings his message of impending judgment to the high place at Bethel “two years before earthquake” in Amos 1:1. His sermon predicts there will be a strong earthquake Amos 4:11; 6:11; 9:1 and other calamities in near future if the people do not turn back to the Lord, His Word and His Temple in Jerusalem and away from oppressing the poor and needy. The ultimate judgment would be captivity by the Assyrians. Amos appears used earthquake as a proof his words about the captivity would be fulfilled. If the epicenter is Mediterranean Sea, one expects a tsunami phenomenon of the tidal waves. Interestingly enough, some rabbinic sources refers to phenomenon. Amos 5:8 and 9:6 states, “Who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the face of the earth” in Luria 1987: 259-62. Amos predicts earthquake 2 years before it did happen something modern geologists cannot do, Dr. Austin call this “Amos’ earthquake!”Ofunato-Japan-EarthquakeProphet Isaiah ministered in Jerusalem in the Kingdom of Judah a contemporary of Amos, also mentions this earthquake. Isaiah 2-6 gives a vivid picture of moral conditions of Kingdom of Judah during reign of King Uzziah in 2 Chronicles 26. The king began his reign following the Lord, but because of his strength, his heart was lifted up with pride vrs 26:16, and cross referenced in Proverbs 16:18. The people of Judah copied the arrogant attitude so followed bad example of their leader.  Isaiah 2 addresses deep-seated problem in Jerusalem and Judah, the sin of pride. He demonstrated proper use of prophecy describing “latter days” verse 2:1. He encouraged the people to walk right with God to gain an eternal future in 2:2-5. The day is coming so Jerusalem will be exalted in 2:2, but instead people were exalting themselves in 2:11, 17. The day is coming when the people will learn Word of God in 2:4. After people neglect to apply word of God to lives 2:6-9, there is redemption day no military activity because people will beat their swords into plowshares in 2:4 but expansionist policies of King Uzziah dictated he build military forces in 2Chronicles 26:6-15.earthquake The people lived in the light of the Word of God like today. 1 John 3:1-3 sets forth same principle for the Church today to also repent. Isaiah predicted a strong earthquake will be used as instrument of God’s judgment if people do not humble themselves and turn back to the Lord in Isaiah 2:19, 21, God Arises to shake earth mightily. Earthquakes form essential part of Bible Prophecy. BEFORE death and His resurrection Jesus foretold events and situations that will give Christians hope in adversity although some naturally wonder if this is what Jesus spoke of in the Bible. Jesus illustrates how sudden His return will be in Luke 17:28-30 at the same time the tragedies unfold globally. God has promised to make everything new again and that sin will never rise up again as stated in Nahum 1:9. God will live with HIS people, and there will be an end to death, crying and pain. “And I heard a loud voice from throne saying, ‘Now the dwelling of God is with men, and HE will live with them. They will be HIS people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. HE will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain for old things pass away and all things made new in Revelation 21:3.
