JESUS GOES THROUGH WALL

580-MesaEaster-Mar29 (1)
In John 20:19-20 Jesus after resurrection surprises disciples in upper room going through wall of locked doors into room to visit them. Despite whatever wall or locked doors and barriers Jesus enters in hearts to change matters and situations. No visible or invisible wall or locked door is too strong, too thick too hard for Jesus to enter in to save, heal, restore, visit, to Comfort a person who lets Jesus enter in. Jesus still knocks on doors of all hearts to enter to save those people willing to receive Jesus. The wall entered in upper room is very thick and impossible to enter without the breaking demolition wrecking balls. Amazingly its bricks did not collapse or fall apart as the natural law of physics required. Jesus is Lord over physics so the wall remained intact just exactly as it was built. This was a great surprise to disciples because the upper room doors were locked to ensure disciples feel safe but sad, lonely without Master Jesus. Seeing Jesus going through wall of locked room increased their faith as trial process of crucifixion made them still fearing for their lives.

Jesus told them to remain put in upper room until they received the Holy Spirit to continue the ministry. Jesus Appears to Disciples on a Sunday evening when disciples meeting behind locked doors afraid for their lives. Jesus easily enters safe reinforced room supposed to keep them safe in their own minds. Jesus here again demonstrates God is ultimate protection even beyond all locked doors. Therefore the disciples lived still hiding when Jesus entered walking through the wall. Jesus appeared to them but the door firmly locked. The same Jesus Who Walked on water this time entered the through walls. The disciples feared for their lives in case they were brutally attacked like Jesus. They were in shock but Jesus told Mary who saw Him by the tomb to go and tell disciples He is going to Galilee.

Many had heard about various sightings of Jesus Christ during His 40 days on earth after resurrection but had not personally seen Him yet. Despite their years training and working closely with Jesus for 3years they still did not fully get Him or remember all He told them.aid thamt until he saw Jesus or touched His wounds he will not truly believe that Jesus resurrected and is alive. Having seen Jesus going through the process of Trials and Crucifixion many were in fear for their lives. Jesus told them to remain put in the upper room until after receiving Holy Spirit to continue with ministry. Jesus paid them surprise visit so the disciples reassured He is Alive forevermore never die again.

This is important to teach lesson to help leaders to understand that the disciples of Christ Jesus did not always get things right. Students of the great Rabbi Jesus, one would think they fully understand Him so believe automatically whatever Jesus said. The disciples feared for their lives in case they were brutally attacked like Jesus. They were in shock but Jesus told Mary who saw Him by tomb to go and tell disciples going to Galilee. Many had heard about various sightings of Jesus Christ during His 40 days on earth after resurrection but had not personally seen Him yet. Thomas said that until he saw Jesus or touched His wounds he will not truly believe that Jesus resurrected and is alive. Having seen Jesus going through the process of Trials and Crucifixion many were in fear for their lives. Jesus told them to remain put in the upper room until after receiving Holy Spirit to continue with ministry. It was not so for Jesus, humans limited comprehending the vast knowledge of Christ. Little by little precept by precept Jesus had to be tolerant and patient with the disciples. It was to encourage and motivate their again to Trust Him as the same miracle working Jesus they knew. Just because Jesus allowed enemies to maltreat Him did not mean He was weak. Prophecy concerning the Messiah Jesus was also fulfilled excatly as Bible predicted so Jesus gave His Life as the ransom for many. He did not stop the process but went through it to the end. Jesus wants them to know He has power to enter a locked door room as did miracles in the past. Jesus confirmed and reassures them He is Glorified but Dwells among flesh and blood as He did for 40 days on earth after resurrection.lk-24-35-48
Jesus’ miracle working power is same yeterday, today and forever. Jesus did His walking through wall or through looked doors to increase their faith. Often expectations are so high people say ” you should know that by now” yet Jesus knew it was fear clouding their thought processes so obviously not thinking clearly. Imagine Jesus thinking Thomas of all people must know Him so well not to doubt Him but Thomas did doubt. Those closest expected to know better who do not always get it right are forgiven as Jesus said on Cross “Father Forgive them for they know not what they are doing” so Jesus forgave Thomas.

Jesus forgave Thomas and was happy to visit the disciples and reunite with them after His Crucifixion. During the most difficult or challenging times in life people often expected to be there may not get it like Thomas. It does not make Thomas bad person expressing his true feelings or his thoughts for Jesus already knows them anyway. Jesus Christ is not shocked by Thomas who was given the privilege to touch Jesus’ wounds. Jesus continues to do miracles today for those who still believe with God all things are possible. Jesus says to people according to your faith be made whole and blessed are those who not see but believe.
