1 John 5:5 asks who overcomes the world? Only the one who believes Jesus is The Son of God. Whosoever believes, accepts, confesses Jesus is The Son of God, Almighty God dwells in him and he in God. Anyone who denies the deity of Christ, denies Doctrine of Christ is among many anti-Christ. Jesus Christ is God’s Specially Chosen Son of God from humble birth. Jesus is the Seed predicted in story of God’s Creation of earth with landmark events leading up to His Crucifixion. All who accept Jesus Christ are sons of God with Jesus Christ joint heir.
Jesus is the Seed predicted in story of God’s Creation of earth with landmark events leading up to His Crucifixion. All who accept Jesus Christ are sons of God with Jesus Christ joint heir. In John 3:16, God so loved the world He gave His Only begotten Son so believers in Jesus will not perish but have everlasting life. In Luke 1:35, an angel visited Mary and said, The Holy Spirit shall come upon you and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you therefore the Holy One born of you shall be called the Son of God.
Jesus directly claims to be The Son of God in John 5:25 saying, I tell you the truth a time is coming and is come now when the dead sons of GOD in Christ will hear the Voice of The Son of God and live. If anyone is in Christ, though dead will live. In John 11:25, Jesus said,”I am the resurrection and the life anyone who believes in Me will live after dying. Jesus, “as the resurrection and the life, whoever believes in Me, though he dies yet shall live. The one who believes in Me, if he dies, will live. In 1 John 5:20, The Son of God came to give understanding to know The True God as we are in The True Son, Jesus, Son of the True God of Eternal life.
In Genesis 6:1-4 there are many sons of God and daughters. So there are several other sons of God in the Bible. Those who accept Christ are at peace within by living in Christ at Christ’s feet forever. Like Mary, those who choose Jesus The Eternal Life will never be taken away from them. In 2 Corinthians 5:17, therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old passes away so new creatures are buried with Christ through baptism into death. Then risen from death through the glory of the Father to live a new life in Christ. Though today all feel pain, loss and sadness, death is not the end.
Christians living in hope, living by faith in the resurrected Christ. Remember Jesus’ empty tomb of the risen Christ. In John 8:51, “most assuredly, I say unto you, if anyone keeps My Word, he shall never see death because God eternal has everlasting life overcoming death. One of the most difficult challenges in Christian living is to be in the world but not of the world as shown in John 15:19. Believers in Jesus Christ in the world physically present but not of it so not part of its secular value system as stated in John 17:14-15. To live in the world means more than simply inhabiting so requires active involvement in communities.
Jesus told His disciples to go therefore and make disciples of all nations in Matthew 28:19. Although set apart from the world, God expects all come to them to hear and know the Truth. In John 17:15, Jesus prayed regarding His disciples saying, “I do not ask God to take believers out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one.” All disciples need to stay in the world, not be removed to heaven. In Acts 1:8 and Isaiah 43:10 believers are to be witnesses to the world. Matthew 5:16 tells all God’s Light is to shine before others to point them to God.
Allowing God’s Light to shine requires to others through Christians who believe in Christ. To sponsor evangelism based on biblical norm model of Jesus Christ not of the world. God requires believers to be free from worldly influence in all aspects of life whether participating in government or social process. It means not acting unsaved as believers are in the world so reside on earth but do not take God for granted. Jesus prayed to Father God, “I do not ask you take them out of the world, but keep them from evil. Believers, are set apart despite catastrophic challenges receive support and strength from the Lord God.
God every day lavishes abundant fruits of His Grace and Mercy, new every morning. The True believer follows the Saviour Who died to raise from sin death. As leading people from God, the mark of the spirit of truth is in opposition to spirit of error. The pure and holy doctrine of God is Truth found in the Bible ordained by God Almighty. In Romans 12:1-2, Christians are told do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind. In 1 John 4:2, beloved do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.2 By this you know the Spirit of God every spirit that confesses Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the anti-Christ, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. False teachers speak in agreement with worldly schemes and tastes not to offend carnal men. So the world approves of them. As a result, they are promoted rapidly by men with many followers. The world loves its own ways in rebellion against God. So citizens of heaven with the Spirit of God guided by faith try all spirits to discern whether they are of God or not. And people of God recognise the worldly spirit. In Psalm 1 the Bible says believers must not walk in worldly ways or listen to worldly counsel or sit down among those who mock God. To live in the world but be not of the world. In John 17:11-16 Christ does not pray that they might be rich and great in the world, but that they might be kept from sin, so do not cleave to those who suit the schemes and discourses to worldly corrupt tastes. 1 Peter 2:9 says, believers are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s possession to proclaim the excellencies of God Who called those saved out of darkness into God’s marvellous light. We live in world of darkness but not part of darkness. So not of the world because we live in Christ and move and have our being.
