The resurrected Jesus was taken up into Heaven in His resurrected body. He is received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. This true Living History of Jesus is found in the New Testament in the Bible. In the Gospel of Mark 16:14 after resurrection Jesus was manifested unto the 11 disciples. After Jesus spoke to them,  “40 days after resurrection Jesus ascends into heaven filled with the glory and honour of His Divinity. In the Upper Room Jesus gave a number of instructions to the apostles. Jesus later was seen going up into heaven as described in ascension as follows:- “And when he said these things as they were looking He was taken up and a cloud received him out of their sight.” On Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples often went up with Jesus during His Ministry on earth.

This happened after Jesus appeared to the disciples, Church and ate with them in Jerusalem in Gospel of Luke. As they sat at meat, during the meal, Jesus said to them, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole world in Mark 16:15. 40 days Jesus departs into heaven in the presence of disciples on Mount Olives. Jesus lifts Up His Hands and taken up Heaven after promising disciples to send Holy Spirit to comfort and guide them. Jesus is the risen ascended glorified Son of God. This shows He was no ordinary man but ever-living Christ. In Acts 1:9, Jesus showed himself alive to others after His passion by many proofs. He appeared within space of 40 days and spoke on things concerning kingdom of God.

The Mount of Olives, is the place  which is well to the east of the Mount of Olives and is believed to be the place where Jesus ascended into heaven. Jesus appeared to disciples at various times in many places.reconciles and reunites the world with God by His death, Shed Blood and Forgiveness. Jesus reassures disciples He has mansions already prepared in heaven for them so will see them again if He tarried before His Return. Jesus prays, Father God to keep and strengthens them in love and unity. The ascension story is again recorded in In Acts 1:9-11 and in John 14:1 as follows is the dialogue between Jesus and the disciples. Jesus told them about his departure and heaven. Here people renact ascension of Jesus.

The Name, image of Christ may be blasphemed daily by jokes, curse words or swears tell people about Jesus.  Yet Jesus is willing to forgive those who repent and accept Him as Personal Saviour. So this is the account where Jesus told disciples He will come back for them so He will see them again in Heaven. Jesus being taken into heaven Proves God is able to lift people alive into heaven like Elijah, Enoch and Jesus ascended into Heaven. In Luke 24:50-52, Jesus leads 11 disciples to Bethany nearby Jerusalem then follows the events that describes the Ascension as follows, And he led them out until they were over against Bethany: and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. And it came to pass, while He blessed them, He departed from them and was carried up into heaven. And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.

The blessing is interpreted as a priestly act in which Jesus leaves his disciples in the care of God the Father. Jesus blessed the whole world by His Blood Sacrifice at Calvary Cross.The ascension of Jesus is shown blessing with His Hands directed towards earthly group below him signifying that He is blessing the entire Church.Jesus already comforted them and reassured them in John 14:1-12, that in 1 “In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. 3“If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. 4″And you know the way where I am going.” 5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life no one comes to the Father but through Me.

7 “If you know Me you know My Father God so now you know God for you have seen Him.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father  for 8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father? 10 “Do you not believe I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words  I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative but the Father abiding in Me does His Works.

11 “Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. Jesus said, since you know Me, you Known My Father God also. So from now on you Know God and have seen God. “Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. 12″Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. 12“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in My name will I do so the Father is glorified in the Son. 

14 If you ask Me anything in My name I will do it. 15 If you love Me you will keep My commandments. 16 I will ask the Father and He will give you another Helper the Holy Spirit so He will be with you forever 17 The Spirit of truth the world cannot receive because it does not see Him or know Him but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you 18 I will not leave you as orphans I will come to you.19 After a little while the world will no longer see Me but you will see Me because I live you will live. 20 In that day you will know I am in My Father and you in Me and I in you. 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.

22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. This Chapel Of The Ascension. After Jesus departed and returned to Heaven, Then 2 angels appeared to them saying, ‘Men of Galilee why do you stand gazing up into heaven. Why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”Jesus made many visits to the Mount of Olives in Luke 21:37 in the past before ascension and will return there. In Acts 1:12, the disciples returned to Jerusalem from mount Olivet after Jesus ascended into heaven. The disciples returned to the Upper Room where Jesus Commanded them to stay until they received Holy Spirit from Heaven to continue the ministry. Christ Set foot on many places on earth to demonstrate Love of God at times rode donkey. Jesus went to various places to minister, heal and deliver those in need of help.

This same Jesus who was taken from you into heaven will return. Jesus reminds all, do not let your heart be troubled believe in God, believe in Me. In this manner that Jesus ascends into heaven so Christ Jesus will return as He Promised. Christ will Appear to believers as His Church Bride for Saints during forthcoming rapture of believers into heaven. Believer will ascend to meet Jesus in the air in the cloud to return to Heaven for 7 years during Tribulation period. The time is coming when frustration and disappointment with Christian living will be a thing of the past. The same Jesus Christ who ascended into heaven Will Return on Mount Olive, so world will see Him and report in the media on the TV. It is important to remember Jesus Predicted future events 2500 years ago before ascending to heaven. Respect dignity of Jesus and each other in the middle of the fast paced, sometimes dangerous moving world towards the tribulation. Believers be not trubled for your salvation is near in Jesus Name.
