Christ Jesus said, All Power and Authority in heaven and on earth is Given to Him by God. So Christ gives the church power of attorney to exercise Christ’s Authority. The primary goal, focus, authorised use of God’s Authority is to represent Christ to win souls to make disciples from all nations. The church must understand their purpose and duty for use of God’s Authority. So must align in line in congruence use of God’s Authority in the Word of God. In 1 Timothy 3:1-16, The Bible says those in authority must be trustworthy. If anyone aspires to office of leader, pastor, CEO, overseer, they desire a noble task. So must be above reproach, husband of one wife or vice versa, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not drunkard, not violent, gentle, not quarrelsome, not lovers of money. Must manage own household well, with all dignity keeping children submissive. For if they do not know how to manage their own household, how will they care for God’s Church?  A Vision of Jesus Keeping Watch by Jamie Rohrbaugh - FromHisPresence BlogWith positions of power, comes responsibility and accountability not to lord it over God’s People, family or loved ones. In 1 Timothy 5:8, if anyone does not provide for own relatives, especially members of own household has denied the faith, so worse than unbelievers. Priority is for leaders in authority to set Own house in order as examples for others to emulate. Those in authority are not called to neglect, abandon family to care for others who sponsor or pay leader. God is True Source of Power, Wealth, silver, gold for the earth is the Lords.  A leader is a servant of God representing office of Christ as head of the church. As stewards they are entrusted with God’s Wealth to help build God’s Church in Christ’s Name to Worship God. This is clear and easy to understand not to demand undue attention from the leader. By all means seek Godly Counsel, advise, help but remember the pastor carries his own cross too. Projection of God’s Due Sovereign Honour, Fear, Reverence onto mortals to take God’s place is not allowed. All the Glory Belongs to God, but honour is due to leaders worth honour. When satan tried to take God’s Glory it created chaos in heaven and rebellion, so was thrown down to earth. That spirit is still at work so leaders beware and watch out not to allow narcissism to replace God’s Glory to be a god to people. In 2 Timothy 3:16, God equips those in authority with personal needs met for comfort. God’s Puts His Words God Above Himself to help guide the leaders to use God’s Words to teach and exult. All Scripture in the Bible is God-breathed, profitable for instruction, inspiration, reproof, doctrine, for pointing out errors for correcting people, conviction of sin, discipline, for training in righteousness. The man of God is to be above reproach, competent, equipped for every good work. God is Centre of Attention for Worship, Reverence, Honour, Holiness. People first pray, prepare from home to fellowship in unity of Christ. Humble servant leaders of God cannot overburden lord authority to control church.

In Hebrews 12:9, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely. Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder who perfects our faith. Who for the joy set before him endured the cross. Despising the shame is seated at the right hand of God on The Throne. Consider Him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or faint hearted. In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons and daughters? “My Children, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, angry, weary when reproved by Him. A Christian believer who truly understands Redemption of Christ feels free indeed so submits to authority. A rebellious, aggressive, confrontational, person changes into a gentle natured believer in many ways for the cloud of witnesses to see through Christ. In Ephesians 4:15-16, the leader works with various parts of the body in unity 15 but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ the Head of the Church, 16 from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up in love. When Christ Delivers the stony heart becomes the heart of flesh so softens to consider the feelings and needs of others. Believers in Christ are set free from snares that exist because the first man Adam and Eve sold out to satan by disobeying the Creator GOD Almighty. A Christian has new values in Christ so accepts the Presence of the Holy Spirit into their lives. Christian believer’s presence reveals thinking, actions, body, mind, soul transformed, renewed to influence the local church, community and society. So cannot indulge in vanity speculative projects to live an overpaid exhilarating unrealistic lifestyle. They are responsible and accountable to God’s Authority as leaders and vessels of honour. 15-Ways-To-Build-Your-Brand’s-AuthorityThe Love of God is shed abroad in a Christian believer’s heart to teach, share good news of gospel to inspire agape love and compassion. To share the love of God is the first condition on path of delivering the Good News of Jesus Christ. Christians must depend on the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to wipe away darkness from seekers of Christ. If the darkness is too heavy for a Christian to discern the Holy Spirit path then find somebody who does discern in love. If the darkness has a person in the grip of addictive sin badly one refuses to forsake that sin then challenge in love if appropriate and suitable. In addition remind them of effects of sin on family and responsible loved ones who deal with the consequences  of their actions. Stand firm in Truth of Word of God but if beyond help point is reached shun recalcitrant persons for your own good. A good apple is destroyed by a bad rotten apple. Confront when necessary to point out sin impact on a person’s life and the punishment by God. Take note, the way of Christ is not to punish sin with brutality such as hand amputation, whipping, stoning or some insane act of violence. Atrocious brutalities vigilante justice is certainly not from GOD ALMIGHTY as CHRIST FORGIVES. A rebellious government ordained to work against people is never a good thing. Harming because some are not considered fit to belong in society due to faith, belief, lifestyle is an abomination in the sight of God is not any single persons call. The right call is to live in peace with all humanity until evil men beginning to force good men to experience evil. The way of Christ is to give a sinner a chance to repent even if it is the last moment before the human spirit separates from the body in physical death. In Matthew 18:21-22 Christ taught Peter and the disciples about the issues of sin and how to forgive. 21 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven equals 70 x 70 = 490 times daily. Forgiveness is needed daily through interaction to witness effectively as soul winners sharing the gospel of the great commission. God designed Divine retribution to be distributed by Himself during the Great Supper of God. In this life God lets civil governments to govern humanity until Christ Returns to establish His Kingdom on earth. In Romans 13:1-7, people are to submit to leadership if though not agrees with policy.  1Let every soul be subject to governing authorities. There is no authority except from God so authorities existing allowed or appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists authority resists ordinance of God and those who resist will bring judgement on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. 4 For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. 5 Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. 6 Because of this you pay taxes for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. 7 Render to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honour to whom honour.

As long as a government is a force to deter evil submit to them. But it implies is government ceases to enforce Favour of God for common good as tyrant, evil despotic rule then submitting to that government is not commanded by God. Selfish greedy self-aggrandizing to promote few at the expense of citizens claiming to represent best interests of all reject. Actions speak louder than words so you will know them by their fruits. Above all GOD will DEMAND from the how the led His people and how they allocated the resources entrusted to them. If they do no repent they will be PUNISHED BY GOD in Revelation 19:24. In Romans, 12:17-21, the Bible says, 17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,”says the Lord. 20 “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if thirsty, give a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on their head.”21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
