YES CHRIST IS RISEN INDEED!

Christ is Risen indeed on the third day after Jesus’ crucifixion and burial raised alive on Sunday from a tomb Victorious over death. Jesus Risen from death gives us living hope for He conquered death in the grave, stood in front of tomb. Jesus conquered death and defeated His enemies so His believers live in eternal life and will resurrect like Jesus into heaven. Congratulations! Thank you Jesus for transforming and empowering God’s believers IN CHRIST. Thank you Jesus for atoning  for our sins with your priceless life and Blood giving your life ransom for many.   image3The angels of God were sent to remove the stone blocking His tomb after 3 days. Jesus fulfilled prophecy He will rise after 3 days of His crucifixion and burial. Jesus is confident knew His words of resurrection will come to pass as He told apostles and disciples before His death. Jesus is risen indeed hallelujah!!!Christ_empty_tombIn Matthew 28:1 early on the first day of the week, while still dark, Mary Magdalene and other women went to the tomb saw stone removed from entrance. Surprised, shocked didn’t expect it stood, gasped, marvelled at whereabouts of Christ they went to embalm.Jesus arose from death in the garden while they looked for Him. The women recalled how Jesus was buried and the tomb sealed. So surprised the stone was rolled away by angels of God they could not believe what they were seeing. An empty grave but they brought extra spices to preserve Jesus body in the tomb for pristine condition. But found tomb door wide open without Christ inside.Soldiers guarded and watched Jesus’ tomb but He miraculously arose past them. Then women who went to embalm Jesus in tomb to preserve His body didn’t find Him. Roman soldiers sealed off His tomb with big heavy stone to stop removing His body. Tombstone cover and empty grave exists in Israel. God’s Power removed stone grave empty Jesus is only Saviour whose tomb is empty because He is ALIVE in heaven. 2 The women run to Peter, John and disciples said, “They took the Lord from the tomb we do not know where they put Him. 3 Peter and John run to tomb. Peter, John, others saw Jesus’ empty tomb because Jesus Son of God is risen.

They were sad Jesus died didn’t understand all Jesus told them He will rise again after 3 days. Yet Jesus raised Lazarus and widow of Nain’s only son on  the way to cemetery. And Talitha Cumi the little girl raised from death, among others didn’t  remember the miracles of Jesus. His brutal treatment by the Romans soldiers who killed Jesus, mourned in deep sorrow with grief. Jesus is the Perfect Son of God cruelly treated for your sin. When Jesus arose from death Peter and John run faster to see for themselves empty His burial site. Peter and John raced to see who arrives first in tomb John outrans Peter so reached first.

Peter surprised, could not run fast enough. So the other disciple looked first while Peter watched then went in after him. 5 Peter came behind him and went into the tomb, The Gospel of John records tomb visit in John 20:1-10. When Peter arrived, he stooped over and looked in and saw the linen cloths lying in empty grave. Strips of linen used as bandages in preparing body for burial. Peter saw grave clothes without body inside and Jesus body was missing.         6840b05012de938417b17104fa5386a9

10 Two angels told disciples Christ is risen went back to Upper room where they stayed and told 120 disciples. 11 After Mary stood outside tomb crying she looked in the tomb 12 And saw two angels in white sitted where Jesus’ body laid one at the head and other at the foot 13 Asked her “Woman, why are you crying?” “They took my Lord away, “I do not know where they put him.” An angel outside the tomb and one inside told Peter and John Christ is risen after the women told them.fbaaaaba98c1bdefa92704eb570ac4ad14 Mary turned and saw Jesus standing but did not realize He is Jesus. 15 He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who are looking for?” Thinking He was the gardener, said, “Sir, if you took Him, tell me where you put Him so I will get Him.” 16 Jesus told her, “Mary” She turned to him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” meaning “Teacher.” 17 Jesus said, “Don’t hold me I am yet to ascend to My Father God in heaven to show Myself FIRST to HIM then after you can touch me.              all-glory-to-jesus.jpgJesus said, tell My disciples ‘I am ascending to My Father, your Father, My God and your God.”18 Mary Magdalene told the disciples the good news, “I saw and spoke to Christ Jesus the Lord. The disciples and apostles remained in the Upper room as Jesus told them to wait until He resurrect to visit them and give instructions. Mary Magdalene went to join other disciples in the Upper Room.

Easter song perfectly sums up the Victory Christ won for His people in Christ over death and sin forever as follows :-

Thine be the Glory, RISEN, Conquering Son; endless is the victory, thou o’er death hast won angels in bright raiment rolled the stone away, kept the folded grave-clothes where thy body lay.

Thine be the glory, risen conquering Son, Endless is the victory, thou o’er death hast won.

Lo! Jesus meets us, risen from the tomb; Lovingly he greets us, scatters fear and gloom; let the Church with gladness, hymns of triumph sing; for her Lord now liveth, death hath lost its sting.

No more we doubt thee, glorious Prince of life; life is naught without thee; aid us in our strife; make us more than conquerors, through thy deathless love: bring us safe through Jordan to thy home above.

Jesus Up from Grave

Low in the grave He lay
Jesus my Saviour!
Waiting the coming day
Jesus my Lord!Up from the grave He arose
With a Mighty triumph o’er His foes
He arose a Victor from the dark domain
And He lives forever with His saints to reign
He arose! (He arose)
He arose! (He arose)
Hallelujah! Christ arose!Vainly they watch His bed
Jesus, my Saviour!
Vainly they seal the grave
Jesus my Lord!Up from the grave He arose
With a Mighty triumph o’er His foes
He arose a Victor from the dark domain
And He lives forever with His saints to reign
He arose! (He arose)
He arose! (He arose)
Hallelujah! Christ arose!Death cannot keep his prey
Jesus, my Saviour!
He tore the bars away
Jesus my Lord!Up from the grave He arose
With a Mighty triumph o’er His foes
He arose a Victor from the dark domain
And He lives forever with His saints to reign
He arose! (He arose)
He arose! (He arose)
Hallelujah! Christ arose!
