Jesus said believers are Ambassadors for Christ doing greater works than Him for he had only 3 years during His public ministry before His work on earth was done. The Ambassadors of Christ represent God and the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. As the salt and light we are empowered with the Authority of God to make decisions on behalf Christ as the head of the Kingdom of God on earth. Christ sent believers full of the power of the Holy Spirit indwelling in us to empower us to greater works to continue the work Jesus started on earth. The Holy Spirit helps us by giving us wisdom and leading us into all Truth of God so equips and anoints us with strength and understanding to share the word of God. Jesus Christ the Saviour of the world is Holy and Perfect yet chooses ordinary mere mortals to be extraordinary to live up to His Standards to do greater works than Jesus. Jesus feels and understand modern believers because He endured hardships, was abused, rejected, bruised for our sins and iniquities, spat on, whipped, suffered for our sake, faced and overcame temptations, fasted and prayed for 40 days and nights and felt pain like human beings do. Jesus also wept, cooked, interacted with the flotsam and jetsam of society. He took away infirmities, healed diseases for believers to enjoy the victory won for us in Jesus Name. The believer is filled with the Living Spirit of Christ Jesus, Who dwells in us according to Galatians 2:19, 20. Therefore the old weak nature of the believer passed away with the death and resurrection of Christ. In 2 Corinthians 5:17 believers become new creations as the old nature passed away and all things have become new through Christ Jesus. So believer can do greater works in Christ Jesus strengthens to do all things in Jesus Name.
