In Proverbs 24:16, we are told even the righteous falls 7 times but rise again because nobody is perfect. This verse is talking about born again, saved, sanctified, holy person who loves God, faithful tither, dedicated to God’s work, kind, generous, may actively lead others to Christ yet still may fall. Paul states in 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, he runs Christian race to win prize too while leading others to Christ. Believers are not perfect but change from glory to glory as God perfects all that concerns us. God is compassionate so is not angry forever because he knows the heart of human beings can be evil. This is the reason why God sent our Saviour Jesus Christ the second Adam to redeem us from sin. This is why in Isaiah 53:4 -5 Jesus bore our griefs, sorrows, afflictions, was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, chastised for our peace and by His stripes we are healed in Jesus. Confess your sins to God, repent, and God will restore you in Jesus Name.
Whenever, any great leader or believer falls, the world makes a spectacle of them by acting as if they did not inherit the sinful nature of Adam and Eve. They are treated with disdain instead of praying and restoring them back in faith. 1 Corinthians 10:12 those who think they are standing must beware lest they fall too. Jesus asked anyone without sin to cast the first stone at the woman caught in adultery in John 8:1-11. Although, it takes two to tango, the accomplice was never brought to justice. Thank God, Jesus had mercy on her, forgive her and asked her not to sin anymore. Christianity is a spiritual hospital where all sorts of issues are dealt with through repentance, forgiveness, grace and mercy of God. All believers have a particular area of life which is a thorn in their flesh. The spirit is saved and assured of salvation because the Holy Spirit lives in believers but carnal flesh has to be crucified daily as long as we live on earth. Seeking God daily to wash and cover with blood of Jesus. God’s great men of faith, Abraham, Moses, David, Zacchaeus, Paul, Peter, fell yet all restored and called friends of God.
As a matter of fact, in Romans 3:23 all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The good news, is as far as the east from the west so does God remove all sins and inequities so remembers them no more. Believers are to forgive 70 x 70 times so people must remember to apply these truths. In 1 John 1:3-9 and Romans 6:1-23, believers are warned to stop sinning to stop crucifying Christ over and over again. God wants all to be saved so helps the righteous who rise again to appreciate the mercy of God more and so walk in greater grace, holiness and righteousness in Jesus Name. So don’t pack beside past issue God forgave and does not remember no more, to become a stronghold to torment you to prevent you from fulfilling your destiny or entering Heaven. In Luke 4:7 we are reminded those forgiven much loves much more. The prodigal son’s father as God’s Arms Are Widely Opened restore again. Arise and shine for your time has come to boldly enter God’s Holy presence through the blood of Jesus. Praise God, Thank Him for His Mercy, Grace, Abundant Love Endures Forever In Jesus Name. Hallelujah.
