In Psalms 146:10 The LORD shall reign for ever, Hello everyone welcome to our God lovers zone to reflect and discuss God matters. It is a privilege and honour to serve God especially in these times. We want to celebrate God as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords over our lives. God is a loving father who cares deeply about us all, loves us and wants the best for us. Despite this, some people misunderstand God. As much as we love each other deeply and give good gifts to them so does our Father God want share His loving heart of kindness with us. The genuine love of God is often overlooked or taken for granted or replaced by mundane materialist cares of the secular world which distracts us. Also humanism controls people by dictating to them they do not need God because they have each other. This shows constant decisions to exclude God in preference for domination and suppression by other people. In 1st Samuel 8:6′ the people choosing to rule themselves instead of allowing God to Rule and Reign over them. As a result God warns of the impact and the consequences of such actions as seen as follows…6 But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord. 7 And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their King. 8 As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. 9 Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will claim as his rights.”10 Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking him for a king. 11 He said, “This is what the king who will reign over you will claim as his rights. He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots.
12 Some he will assign to be commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. 13 He will take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, confectionaries and bakers. 14 He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his attendants. 15 He will take a tenth of your grain and of your vintage and give it to his officials and attendants. 16 Your male and female servants and the best of your cattle and donkeys he will take for his own use. 17 He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will be his slaves. 18 When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from king you have chosen, but God will not answer you that day.
”19 But the people refused to listen to Samuel. “No!” they said. “We want a king over us. 20 Then we will be like all other nations, with a king to lead us to go out before us and fight our battles.”21 When Samuel heard all the people said, he repeated it before God. 22 God answered, “Listen to them and give them a king.”Although people rejected God, He still wants us to return to Him because of His mercy, grace, compassion, and forgiveness to restore our personal relationship with Him. So repent to ask God for forgiveness for rejecting Him as Lord, King, Ruler.Call on God’s direct line to Heaven in Jeremiah 33:3, like talking to friends, colleagues, family daily. God hears us always although at times we feel as if God does not care. He answers us at the right time according to God’s plans and purposes for our lives. God sent His Son Christ Jesus to come to earth to save, deliver and heal us from all works of the devil and from all destructions. It is important to feed ourselves everyday with God’s soul food from the Bible to nourish and nurture our spiritual growth and maturity. I want to reassure you that God is not angry with you, on the look out for the slightest mistakes you make to lash out at you, punish you and judge you for your imperfections. He lovingly makes it clear the righteous will fall several times but God will lift them up again and restore them from glory to glory to do greater works and exploits for God through the Holy Spirit. Pray daily to God in Jesus Name, cover yourself and your loved ones with the Blood of Jesus from the top of your head to the soles of your feet, continue to trust God and have confidence in God, for His Words will never pass away in Jesus Name. God loves you so repent to serve God in Jesus Name.
